Voyager 1 & 2 Unidentified Signals

I found "Voyager 1"!
I haven't posted before because I didn't have anything very interesting to post but I think this is worth the while. I was cruising around the Sol system taking some pics and enjoying the sights when out by Pluto I spotted something in the distance...2,309,668Ls distant to be exact. Hmmm, curious, what could it be? So off I go into supercruise to explore (I do like exploring
). So over half an hour later and after hitting speeds above 1700c I find an "Ancient Probe" by the name of "Voyager 1". Woo Hoo what a treat.
Since this is only my first posting I am unable to show testimonial pics of the event. I will add them later to verify this feather in my cap.
I have been 'in' since beta 1 and having a good time with the game so far. I look forward to what Frontier has in the future for us.

Welp it looks like I have a reason to travel back to federation space and actually use that sol permit I got while doing Bounty hunting and missions in my earlier days.

Just found Voyager 2 ... found it quite moving for some reason. Really nice touch!

Can't find the Voyager probes
I have been pulling my hair out trying to find the Voyager probes. I really want to find them, just to check it off my list and take a few screen grabs. I think those probes are so cool and I was really excited when I found out they were in the game, but I have had 0 luck finding Voyager 1, despite trying 3 times (haven't even tried for Voyager 2 yet). Things I've tried:
-I've had people on Reddit tell me to fly toward Gliese 445, since that's where Voyager 1 is headed. Gliese 445 doesn't show up on my galaxy map when I search for it. I looked up an actual star chart and found its approximate position that way, but after flying 2 million LS from Sol in that direction, no Voyager 1.
-Some people can apparently see a signal source as soon as they warp into the Sol system that's 2 million LS away. I have never seen that signal source, even after using my advanced discovery scanner. The farthest object from Sol that I can see is Charon.
Were the Voyagers removed from Elite after the Wings update? Can anyone provide clear and detailed instructions on how to find the probes?

Just curious, I was wondering who all has taken the time to visit Voyager 2 in-game? I finally got my Sol system pass last night and was wandering around sightseeing, and when I got to pluto I noticed a selectable item something like 2.3 million LS away past pluto. Being overly curious I decided to fly to it, only to bump into Voyager 2, broadcasting the greeting messages the real probe contained. I'm not sure it was worth the 40 minute flight, but I did find it rather cool that Frontier added it.

I can't remember if it's Voyager 1 or 2 but take a good look at the nameplate for a cool Star Trek Easter egg.
I did, even took a selfie with it.
