Does anyone know how to make the Frontier Launcher update the Steam count when not running it from Steam (because I don't play ED from Steam) as it seems people here get really excited about the Steam Count Statistics?

Elite isn't doomed it's one of those annoying games where a lot of people have history with the game. The hurt comes from people with that history wanting the game to git guid , but in their opinion its not going or doing the right thing . It's all opinion so it can't be wrong . Now I will go back to lurking

Sadly there are quite a few on here who leave their games running 24/7 'to kill the planet more effectively'. I expect it is them.

Paul doesn't cover for Sally. Paul has been working on Elite since he joined the company.

This thread was kind of pointless when it started. I see the OP has been back to say how much better NMS is since the first post. There's already a thread discussing NMS in the General Gaming section, feel free to go over there and eulogise about the game.
