Re-read the OP: he states clearly that "some bad person" was deliberately hanging out around the mailslot with no shields. The OP sounds kind of flaky and judgmental to be honest, and I'm simply offering another take on the story. The OP demands that we take his statement at face value with no facts to back it up, so why is his story any more accurate than my own? Surely you've seen how these entitled Corvette/Cutter pilot's enter/exit stations just brushing everybody out of their way without a care?
Yeah I've seen those types brushing smaller ships out the way without a care.
I also see articulated truck drivers attempt similar on Lincolnshire roads on a daily basis.
I wouldn't cycle in front if one deliberately, though. Knowing they *might* get into trouble with plod is no consolation when you're dead.
So I use the same life skill when confronted by entitled Corvette drivers. I'm usually able to avoid altogether, since I'm using my wits and staying <100m/s. Just let them slip past no drama.
Deliberately getting toasted in the rack is for bell-whack cheese-munchers only. Found only inhabiting Open.
I'm not for one second saying entitled Corvette driver is blameless. Deserves a fine. Not to the value of 33MCr/ though. C'mon. We both know this hard-line rule is out of whack.
