Newcomer / Intro What are you up to?

Is there somewhere that keeps a record of covert missions completed? EDSM? Inara? Can't find the stat...

The codex doesn't seem to have it either although it reports:

Which is odd sounding seeing as it wasn't a heist...

Confirming that doing six covert theft missions doesn't cut the mustard for Terra Velasquez. Ah well...
A few months ago I did, over the course of a week, 7 covert thefts and 7 covert heists (kept track of them on Inara), and nothing happened.
One or two days after, I contacted Support and in an hour they unlocked Terra Velasquez for me. ✌️😊

A couple of weeks after, whilst jumping from a system to another, I randomly received the invitation message from Terra Velasquez. 🤔

I have also contacted support and they very kindly updated me (y)- I sent them my journals, of course, just to prove I wasn't trying it on.

I am a happy CMDR! :D

I was actually able to survive this surprisingly long :alien:
Um... what is that thing?

Agreed!

Now, all I need is four more financial projections for referral. Once done, I need to gather a few more mats then I shall get my ultimate aim for Oddy Engi's - night vision! Not that I really need it but hey ho!
Big yes for night vision!

One of my favourite past times in Odyssey, which I count as the equivalent of a chill laser mining session in my ship, is to hunt scavengers on the night side of a planet.
Maverick suit with night vision, and Executioner with scope and audio masking.
I jump on top of the highest building and pick the scavs one by one, silently.
No need for lights, or shields.
It's not fast at all, and that's why it is my personal equivalent to Laser Mining: I do it at my own pace with no pressure.

Got a 5A scoop so I'm sorted. If I make the trip myself I'll have cartography to sell on, then I can hop on a FC for the return trip. Engineered the FSD too so that's good. I would just need to set aside some time to do my holiday in Colonia
That's all I did by doing a quick scan while having a little scoop between jumps. Basically until I overheated or my next destination was in sight. It gives you a little pocket money which could be used for having other ships delivered to Colonia or something. It's not particularly cheap. It'd just be nice if you were told you of new discoveries before handing the data in. Though I may have only found new stars anyway. Nothing to map.

It does seem a bit pointless flying back on your own steam since the adventure is really on the outward journey. The guys Skippy mentioned are the ones I found on Discord.

First I bookmarked places on the Colonia Connection Highway. Mostly stations but there were other destinations I may have wanted to check out. You may find additional locations by searching the name. Though I wasn't as interested in the touristy stuff.
