A couple of weeks after, whilst jumping from a system to another, I randomly received the invitation message from Terra Velasquez.

That's all I did by doing a quick scan while having a little scoop between jumps. Basically until I overheated or my next destination was in sight. It gives you a little pocket money which could be used for having other ships delivered to Colonia or something. It's not particularly cheap. It'd just be nice if you were told you of new discoveries before handing the data in. Though I may have only found new stars anyway. Nothing to map.

The real benefit for me would be hitching a ride to places I've already been to. I don't think I'd wanna bother with flying out to Colonia again but I'd catch a carrier and fly to other destinations like the core by myself.
