OK, not sure why it wasn't wrking before.

The first image is for CZ's and has better ammo management. The latter is for CZ's in the dark.
Nice stuffs!

I wound up doing a few more hauling runs for the CG today because I had dropped out of the Top 50% bracket. So I decided to top off the tank, so to speak.

The profits wound up pushing my credit balance over 8 billion for the first time in a long while, though. I guess that's good.

Hauling isn't the most exciting thing to do. My most exciting moment today was when this T9 simply refused to let me out of the station. It was Cutter vs T9 in a head-butting contest. Eventually he did give way, but not without a lot of gesticulating on my part.

And I rounded out my skull collection. I like them. They remind me of my eventual destination. Plus I had extra Arx to burn. :)

I have seen a few star systems that were named along those lines...;)

In my opinion, a gamepad is the second best option if you can not afford a HOTAS - keyboard + mouse are out of the question for me if it comes to play this game.
I just play keyboard and mouse. A HOTAS on this game is a waste I think. About the only reason I could see for using one is core mining, and the stick would have to have multiple hats for doing it properly to be able to outperform the mouse/keyboard combination.

Hey that's just like your opinion man. Personally, I return games for poor controller support. And getting away from mere opinion, on to matters of hard fact, I challenge you to impersonate the Maxell tape guy's posture with KBM. But with controller, it's so easy.

I can see why you prefer M&K, it just does not work for me.
I can not find a setup that would allow me to steer my ship without having my hands and arms cramp up after a short amount of time.

Yeah, it's boring but trade loops can pay well, I saw some at up to 9+ million per rotation, not counting the bounties I owe to the pirates who donate their ships to the cause...

That's how I managed to buy a Universal Cartographics and refill my Carrier, 12,000 tons of tritium is a lot of money...

Standard wheel mouse, plus 12 switches, top hat, 4 fire buttons and throttle on joystick, plus 32 buttons on stream deck
... and I still have to use the keyboard 😂
That's sort of my point.

There are roughly 604 programmable keys on my keyboard. There are 18 on my mouse. I can't imaging needing any other buttons to push. Hell, I don't even use a fraction of the ones I have.

I can implement 3 different thrust axis simultaneously.

I just don't get why anybody would need that many buttons on a controller.

At any rate, finally made it back to Deciat with the FDL. Got all the effects put on and it's about half-way (grade 3 for most things) engineered. I'll see how it performs tomorrow afternoon sometime as I'll be busy in the morning.

The only thing I don't like about it so far: a fuel tank about the size of my bladder.

I forget which buttons do what (Getting on a bit) so everything is labeled on the stream deck. I only have fire group select and target select on JS keys, plus thrust on top hat and weaponts on JS.
On foot I use KB wasd for movement with tool selection etc on Stream deck.

I guess I should really create different profiles for on foot combat, and bounty hunting.
