You are Burt Gummer and I claim my 5 credits!

(for a change ;) )

My rig is only a year old and it's well out-of-date already :ROFLMAO:

Not such a good day for me... I wrongly assumed that the RAM would be supported but it isn't, as a result the sticks are limited to 8GB instead of 32 each, and my cooler is looking like it is about to pack up (not because of excessive temp, but mechanical).
Despite of this, my new rig is 19% faster at 4K without boost vs boost for both CPU and GPU for the previous one, I'll keep this kit and am looking at timings to increase its frequency to 3600GHz.

just completed a delivery mission (wing). sold all their palladium for 13 million a trip. Total i guess is 83 million all totes.this has now pushed me to do so more skulduggery delivery trips and flogging in a complete new black market. just for the thrill and the chase by the pirates/bounty hunters/cut throats and thieves amount the npc's.

3600MHz at Cl14. That's why I buy those kits, pitty for the loss of capacity...

OK back to Elite dangerous Horizon, I haven't bind my HOTAS to Odyssey yet, and I need to make some credit to make sure I don't run out for next upkeep... I'm buying Jaques Quinentian Still, I hope I can sell it for a good price back home...

Geez this place is ridiculously pretty... I kind of don't want to go. Only needs a greenhouse and some solar panels and you could farm this planet, maybe even breathe it's air unfiltered.

There was a brief moment of panic as I was flying in external view and suddenly this mountain loomed up from the side of the camera - fortunately vertical thrust and killing the throttle avoided a collision 😸

It indeed is a beautiful place.
A cabin with some greenhouses and solar panels would indeed suffice to have a place to live in.
Add a small landing pad for your Sidewinder* and a SRV garage and you have all you need.

*: Or whichever small spacefaring vessel you prefer...

I am trying to figure out which engineer to unlock next. So far I have level 5 access to Tod, Elvira and Felicity.
I am looking for some upgrades for burst lasers and power distributors.

I have found the engineers section in the wiki, but as there are more engineers than my char knows of at this moment, it is quite confusing.

The engineering rabbit hole is quite time consuming, but offers some good stuff if you're prepared to go through it.

Also worth knowing which blueprints to pin from who for efficiency!

Time to trade with 5 black markets. You need The Dweller in Wyrd. He can do grade 5 power distributors and grade 3 on some lasers.
He is 3rd on my list after FSD and thruster engineering when engineering a new ship.

Thank you for the effort, but I fear this is not really for me.
My playstyle is not really built for efficiency.

First saw these pics on my phone and thought "FDev have done clouds!" Then I stretched the images...

Great photo's though!

I've got a different recommendation for unlocking Palin. Once you have an Asp X or similar with Engineered FSD V1 and ideally Guardian FSD in booster, head to the crystal shards as sites and fill up on grade 4 raw materials. You are about in 1500ly from you start position at this point. After visiting the second crystal shards system, continue in the same direction to the Jelly Fish Nebula. This should be 5029ly out to satisfy Palin and it's pretty to look at. Relog if necessary to see the invite from Palin. Now head back to the bubble via the Pliedes and the planet with the crashed Thargoid ship and get the sensor fragments needed for Palin. Job done and you have enough raw materials to engineer 6 to 8 or more ships.

@Nekozji some excellent shots. Many of them desktop worthy with ease. Thanks for sharing those.

@CMDR TIMBERMCWOLF I never bothered with any "path" to engineers. Typically, they unlock themselves as you go. Example: Farseer revealed another one to you, that person will reveal another, etc.

The thing to do is go to your 4 panel and click on the engineers square. Any engineer you see with an envelope next to it has been revealed to you. You can click on them and it will tell you what you have left to do to unlock them. Simply see which one is easy to do and unlock them. Then they will reveal yet another engineer. Rinse, repeat.

I approached it that way with no particular engineer in mind at all. I have 17 of them unlocked.

Inevitably there are pages on the Inara website that deal with the engineers including who does what blueprint to which level and a page showing their unlock requirements including who tells you about whom.
