Opponents eat those things like popcorn

Happy times

Just like popcorn while theys is still hot, it can melt M&Ms or chocolate smarties and such MMM you get that whole sweet/schrapnelly thing getting on

That is one of my pet peeves with EDO - I can't figure out how to adjust the strength of the throw -

It's like that with jumping too. You walk up to something knee high in low gravity and gotta jump fifteen feet in the air to get up on it!! (I think) Right?

So if CMDRs can't control their launch speed, how can a dumb grenade hrm?? !! :)

Today, I am mostly doing nothing (in-game at least) - I had a job application to do. I have another to do tomorrow and one for the weekend too.

Good luck. But, if you're willing to go back in-game, my good fellow down at the Frontlines Solutions desk says you're a shoe-in. They'll take you!!

Must admit i hardly ever use grenades, also due to the way they bounce about unpredictably while taking their time to detonate - but yep, throwing a grenade at the ground short range so it detonates on impact can be more effective though… :]

Recently, I tend to see quite often some posts with a lot of empty space... I wonder if this space is less empty on your end...
(The forced reload (CTRL+F5) doesn't do anything in these cases...)

Yup, I'm seeing empty spaces as well. Not in every post though, just the odd one or two here and there.
From the context of what isn’t empty space what do you think might be missing or is it just added emptiness?

There can be an issue with videos (or at least there has been) not appearing for people who don’t have their permissions for the forum set wide enough.

Not sure, could be either I guess. No big deal really for me so far though as it's only a few posts here and there.

This rocket launcher I use in the CZs had the Scope mod fitted when I got it at G3 from Pioneer Supplies. By doing missions and whatnot I've managed to get it to G4 now.

I'm almost ready to upgrade a Dominator Suit to G4 and the one I've been using in the CZs has Increased Air Reserves. However, yesterday I stumbled upon a pretty rare G3 one in Pioneer Supplies with Reduced Tool Battery Consumption and Faster Shield Regen, so I guess that will be the one I'll upgrade to G4. Pity I can't transfer the Increased Air Reserves over onto that one as I've found that pretty useful in the CZs, so I guess I'll visit an eng somewhere to add that mod...

I am not sure if there is anything missing or not. It is just a large amount of empty space - big enough to fit an image in there.

This is one of the posts where this happens:

That media link doesn't appear in the original post for me.

EDIT: Funnily enough, after I returned here from checking my account settings via the back button, the empty space has returned into the quote, just to disappear again as I open the editor to add this supplemental.

There's a whole thread about this. It happens to many folks, apparently.

Yep it’s a YouTube clip - mebbe an extension/plugin is absent or not loading or something…?

It is more likely the missing marketing cookies thing. I can't log-in to the frontierstore website on Firefox for example 'cos I won't allow all their cookie choices. On this forum I can't actually view my own youtubes for the same reason (yet other people's play no problem).

It's a security and privacy setting. It's the default behaviour in Firefox and Safari.

The setting is to block 3rd party cookies, i.e. cookies not set by the domain you are currently on. It prevents cross-site tracking, which allows social media companies and advertisers to log your behaviour across the wider internet. If you use Chrome, this won't be an issue, as its default behaviour is to allow tracking cookies (no surprise there.)

I use Opera, which is Chrome thingied. The cookies option I click when I login to the forum is the "allow selection" one.

I use Firefox - but it has loads of extensions working: DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials, Ghostery, AdBlocker Ultimate, uBlock Origin, BitDefender Anti-tracker and Popup Blocker *. I sometimes use the DuckDuckGo browser itself but it's only in Beta at the moment

I don't seem to have any issues.

* I use that lot because of the pesky tracking that goes on on the Interwebs. I have the DDG browser app on my phone which has an app tracker blocker and it's really scary to see how many tracking attempts are being made. Google, Virazon and Adobe are the ones trying to hoover up the most data.

Gave up worrying about all this tracking stuff a while back - nothing I can do about it, so why fret? (Apart from obsessively clear browsing history and cookies every time I close Chrome, of course )
Always found it amusing that some people wouldn't have the Covid jab because they thought it was putting a tracking device in them...when they're already willingly carrying a tracking device around with them 📱

Meanwhile, back in the real world - my lovely main alt giving it the full John Wick/Frank Castle in a medium CZ :giggle:

There's quite a lot of duplication of function and content there - AdBlocker Ultimate basically uses the same filter lists as uBlock Origin. BitDefender includes its own trackers, on mobile devices at least, and for that reason should be killed with fire. uBlock Origin is free and open-source; all the others have a profit motive. You only need one, imo, and it's pretty clear which one it should be.

Ghostery is really superfulous given that Firefox has essentially the same anti-tracking features. I uninstalled it.

If you have an Android phone, Google already knows a terrifying amount about you.
