You can use it to scan those Stratum you spied beside the landing pad too

What makes my brain shut down and implode is there was nothing before the big bang, Nothing. For me, everything must have a start and if everything suddenly came from nothing... hayelp!
If there was a big bang, what caused it? Something must have. And if there was "something" that something must've come from somewhere.

There's no reputable scientist anywhere who has ever said there was nothing before the big bang, that's a creationist talking point. The most that has ever been said is that we can likely never find out what was before the big bang.

And regarding landing...
Automatic landing on planet surfaces was the first thing I turned off - landing on stations is still automated.
What I turned off in the right panel yesterday was the automated start from stations.
I'll be heading out there right after I am finished here.

Hmm... for me, it seems selling stuff through my carrier is more lucrative than exobiology. For now anyway. I suspect the markets will mature and then we'll see competition take hold.
