Newcomer / Intro What are you up to?

Right! I finally got it, thanks for all the replies. Its that big pineapple thingy sticking out the titan's cloaca.

Got my first titan bond.

I used the enhanced AX missiles but I also got the enhanced AXMCs, are the MCs better for pineapple shooting?
I don’t know. I used MC and Lasers.

In this build.

I decided that I'd head off to Colonia if I quickly got up to half a billion creds for the first time, giving me a week to maybe crawl up there before the postponed update. I'm currently at Mammon via Sheron. Though I didn't realise there was a derelict vessel at Sheron before I left.

More importantly, I finally made it to elite in something. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaay. Exploration. I probably would've done this with my original account but I didn't fully understand or make proper use of the exploration tools. FSS kinda frazzled my brain so I ignored it.

I have a feeling it'll take me a lot longer than a week though since I'm not just fuel scooping and blasting through this time.

All I need now is a station with outfitting services so I can add the elite badge to my ship.

-- RUHANTI C 2

Famed Independent EXPLORER/ENFORCER CMDR Penny Noon was found drank to death underneath her Zorg-Peterson when Alliance Powers finally investigated an alarm at the Pinzon Settlement. Station security footage revealed:

All four of the station skimmers were blown up, unfortunately leaving no surviving station skimmers.

According with her very short last wishes, Penny will be buried in her red artemis suit.

A memorial for Penny Noon will be held at Mawson Dock next time boredom strikes.

I've heard quite often that the AX missiles are the way.

My son uses the AX bodywash - but have you tried Old Spice?

Oh noes :(

…what happened?

Was Penny caught unawares by a band of bandits, as she slept under the stars?

Did she have too much tipple and too little sustenance …and succumb to her bottle?

Was the drink spiked?

…what happened to Penny? 🤔

Mysteries perhaps some day we'll know, but the Allied security reports that a settlement on Ruhanti C 2 was simply not their priority and some number of T of Indi bourbon was involved!

Congrats on elite! @@@07

I accidentally loaded Odyssey and got kicked out of the pilot district. AGAIN.

Well I think Mr. Passin' will sample more Empire life, that's my only plan. I have some domestic appliances to deliver, some courier jobs, a bootleg liquor to liberate. Life is rather fine so far.

I always find the book in your sig awkward, it is nice enough as a stand alone but
I keep trying to tie it in to his series books and having trouble with that. He wrote some favourite books though.

I think it's my top two favorites, the man called noon, and passin' through

Instead of Mrs. Hollyroog though, I have COVAS

I am trying to earn decals and ship kits at the vulnerable Titan, getting through the corrosion cloud and the expulsion pulse is going well but I feel less comfortable and less effective at the Titan itself, no rescue ships there makes things trickier but the whole process feels a little more fraught. I have made a couple of changes to my ship, I might reverse them as much as I can and see if that helps.

The Man Called Noon is great, the film is a disappointment of course.
Other non series favourites include but aren't limited to Sitka, The Last of the Breed, and Flint.

I've set myself a new target(s) when doing ground CZ's - never to let the enemy capture a checkpoint. It can get a bit fraught at times :D

S'funny though, the "commentator" doesn't always say "that's a big win".
I've done this more than once - won a HIGCZ with more than 950 tickets to spare.

There are only certain installations where it's feasible. The super compact high-tech installation is the best. It has only one capture point inside, the doors leading to that point are both overlooked by other control points (one of the doors is visible from two other points), and four of the drop points are on the roof of the building.

You can cheese it by parking an SRV under one of the more distant drops points (althoughI've never done it.) It forces the Vultures to drop the hapless victims at another point.

The only expression that can fully encapsulate that map when you have dual L-6es with extended mag, stowed reloading and faster reload is "probable war crime."

Add flair to the victory by punching your teammates to death after you win.

I do this mainly in a military CZ that has a SEC building at one end and two HABs at the other. Checkpoint Bravo has a (I think) a landed Eagle beside it. Sniping from the SEC building is rather satisfying and, I've found, Charlie and Echo become uncontested in many cases.

This means that only one checkpoint needs to be defended at aby one time.

If you boil them up when they attempt to take it and make 'em dead 'uns, you can let your NPC team retain checkpoints while you mass points from letting the enemy eat hot plasma. And bullets. Git some. Git some.
