Despite my reservations, I splashed cash on ARX with a view to getting the Mandy.
Pre-built or standard?
Hmm... research, research, research.

It seemed cheaper to me to get the standard and then add bits in game. But then maybe I am just cheap!Despite my reservations, I splashed cash on ARX with a view to getting the Mandy.

I did in the pp1 time, mainly for the modules, (Prismatics, Pacifiers and Cytoscramblers up until now).Has anyone pledged to a power yet?
I haven't and I'm not sure if I will. I'm trying to weigh up the pros and cons.
I may take a plunge into Mandalay waters today though.
I jsut left my Mandalay in primer without the ship kit as neither did much for me and it dropped the price by half. I'm officially a cheapskate. Will paint it once I earn a bit through gameplay. I love the ship without the ship kit so winner winner chicken dinner. Put the ship kit on the T8, though, as I love it's industrial look, real Alien vibes. You know... as I think about it, I have enough ARX to buy standard versions of the Mandy and the T8.
Just to throw an extra spanner in the works!
EDIT - Went prebuilt Mandy
If you find ships flying banners for a power, check the radar.
Thanks!Enjoy your new ship!
Odd.Thanks!
Feels more like a racing car than an exploration ship at the moment. Just at Fe's to get some experimental luvvliness and then some engineering.
I wish they'd fix the outfitting screen though - my jump range stats disappear off the bottom of my monitor.
I abandoned that idea years ago; I leave them all over the bleedin' place. Thing is though I quite like the little interludes this forces, when you might have to wait days for your ship to arrive, you can just pootle around doing makework for a while and it's quite relaxing. (Powers dishing out missions directly is going to help with this too!)I suppose I could dry dock the Hauler, Added and A.N. Other when the MKV arrives. It's just my OCD wanting keep all my ships in one place
Yes, one should also watch out for magnets nearby - possibly a speaker set below is pulling the beam off, distorting/cropping the image?Odd.
I haven’t got that on mine, is it just Mandalay or everything.
Perhaps you need to get round the back of your monitor and tweak the vertical hold a bit.
Perhaps the tubes are still warming up.Odd.

Quite possibly, especially if your monitor is one of the more letter boxed designs.Perhaps the tubes are still warming up.
Thing is, everything else is centralised OK.
EDIT: Actually, I'm wondering if it's to do with screen size and resolution...
Unfortunately I have no operatives spare to despatch to your property with a spy drone, so you'll have to actually tell us what rez you are running if you want an answer ...EDIT: Actually, I'm wondering if it's to do with screen size and resolution...
ALmost the best bit of being in a squadron is that we have a home base, so an obvious place to leave my spare ships!I abandoned that idea years ago; I leave them all over the bleedin' place. That;s odd, doesn't do that for me. Although I am playing on a laptop through a 58'' TV, so perhaps not a good comparison. Thanks!

Could it be to do with borderless versus windowed display modes as well?
It's one of these running in 4K - 16:9Unfortunately I have no operatives spare to despatch to your property with a spy drone, so you'll have to actually tell us what rez you are running if you want an answer ...
ETA: I think aRJay is suggesting you might be on 16:10 (the oldschool not-quite-16:9) or ultrawide (the shiny new eeeally-not-16:9)
Borderless window mode?Perhaps the tubes are still warming up.

Well, that's odd. ALT ENTRT does nothing. Changing from borderless to full screen does nothing. Unplugging the HDMI did nothing. And, to top it all, I can't find the OSD control to move the screen position around. I'm a bit stumped.Borderless window mode?
Hit Alt+Enter a couple of times to see if that redraws the screen the right size.
Failing that, unplug the cable then plug it back in.
Isn't the Empire against slavery? That's one of the reasons I joined on my last account. Though it was mostly just to simp for the anime chick.Life in the Empire is kind of confusing, when I was offered a choice of reputation reward or 1T of slaves.
Yeah, I'm just gonna wait on feedback. No rush.Has anyone pledged to a power yet?
