Hi All :)

I arrived back in the bubble this morning, I've got a bit of a 'shopping list' to do today which requires me to....

1. Buy a cheap sidewinder (At Havalokul which is my main base for my ships, modules etc.), travel to my Outpost station which isn't very far away, dump the ship off there, and take a taxi back to Havalokul. I'm doing this so's I've got an easy to see marker for the system / station on the Gal map. I find that the small triangle get's a bit lost when you've got the main systems, bookmarks and other stuff showing on the Galmap. Okay, you can bring up your player named Stations using the in game menus but I personally find the position icons of your ships easier and quicker to spot using the former method. 🤷‍♂️

2. Order my Carrier to the Havalokul system, Order my Cutter to Fidalgo Dock, board that and transport some of the materials needed for the current CG from station to Carrier.

3. Order the transport of two Engineered Abrasion Blasters (Which I earned from the last CG), to Fidalgo Dock. (I've still got to pick up the credit reward for that last CG, but I'll do that later on today maybe).

4. Hand in my bio data from my recent exploration trip.

5. Register and take part in the current CG.

6. Also sell off some of my mined metals and minerals from that same exploration trip, but I might be able to do that more profitably at the same time as I'm collecting those CG materials. Some of those stations I'll be visiting along the way might also want Osmium, Samarium, Gold and Platinum for example. 🤑

Edit...I've completed tasks 1, 2,3 and 4 this morning so I'm now gonna start hauling stuff to my Carrier for an hour or two then it's off I go to the LP 855-34 system, pick up my credit reward and then travel to the Winiama or Apura systems (I haven't decided which one yet) to take part in the CG.

Busy bee :D

As for me... I've spent the entire morning trying to figure out why my Bluetooth keyboard has suddenly stopped working for no reason whatsoever.

I gave up in the end and have reverted back a wireless USB one.

This has happened before and a Windows rollback fixed it. I really can't be bothered with that again so I'll wait until MS put out another update and take it from there.

I am at a loose end games wise, so I'll just see what takes my fancy when I get back in later.

EDIT: cracked it. KB now working again.

You don't have to pick up the credit reward, do you?

I can imagine what you mean regarding the galaxy map markers though. It needs some work.

I'm not sure...I've always collected the bonus payment from the mission source in the past so...🤷‍♂️...:)
They get automatically credited to your account two weeks after the CG ends I heard somewhere.

Ah, I see, I wasn't aware of that. (y)

Today, what am I doing...handing in the last of my load of commodities for the current GG (Mahon) when the servers are back up again. Then I'm going to offload my mined stuff at the appropriate vendors etc. I'm in the 75% bracket so another load or two should put me in the 50% area maybe.
I've fitted one of those previous engineered CG Abrasion Blasters to my (mining) Fed Corvette, it's got a longer range than the current one I was using, so I'll have to see if it makes any difference. It should do I think as I won't have to get in so close to the exploded asteroid to pick of the chunks. I find that if you stay outside of the exploded asteroid a short way I don't lose so many limpets. If you get in amongst the exploded pieces early on the limpets get confused and you lose quite a few.

I'm also going off to our local garden centre, we need some more potting compost!...(My wife's idea, so it's possibly lunch out as well ;)......:D)

I can imagine what you mean regarding the galaxy map markers though. It needs some work.

It's mainly due to all the systems in the general core of the bubble being mostly inhabited now, at least you can apply the filters to see more clearly what you're mainly searching for (there was a bug not so long back with the filters, but it seems to have been fixed) . Perhaps the players triangular icon for the claimed systems could have the ability to be enlarged (but only for the players icons obviously).
Anyhow, my two stations have got a Sidewinder parked (Outpost) and a Python Mk 2 in the Coriolis with the shipyard, so I can clearly see them now, :D

EDIT: cracked it. KB now working again.

(y)...Was it software related or did it just start working again?. My G19 keyboard's lcd screen programs don't function due to a combination of now unsupported hardware / software, plus previous windows updates. There's a fix I tried, but it's not really stable. Many of the other aspects of the actual keyboard work though, so I'm still using them!

Another GCZ bugged to Colonia and back.

Avoid Buzko Command Garrison in CD-3323 * as it gets no scores up and, if you get boiled up, you restart 500m away and have to run back. It's also really slow to scan the enemy who don't always show up as red arrows. There are no voice-over commands either so it's sometimes hard to ascertain which checkpoints are up for grabs.

* Although, to be fair, I did manage ~21mCR in bonds :D

Yesterday i took on a massacre mission; kill 9 NPC raiders who occupied a base.
It was tense, lots of guard ships and a Goliath flying around.
I failed the first time, raising the alarms and all kinds of havoc.
The second time went better, i used stealth, killing most of them with the energylink. It was fun, but it took quite a while.
It turned out there were only 8 NPC's at the base, so i couldn't Finnish the mission.
I did loot the place clean of course.
I know you can relog and have another go, but i was running out of gametime.

that happens quite often, some times the last npc has gone for a walk, and are way out of the station best call it a day unless you have a srv with you and drive around the outskirts looking for him, best ones are the npc stuck in a wall/ground and shooting you and there is nothing you can do,lol
It happens more than it should in GCZs. I always go to them via dropship and it can be a pain finding the last one.

I sometimes end up calling a taxi.
