If I was to buy a carrier right now I'd probably call it the HMS Alex DeLarge. It'd at least sound a little thoughtful and intelligent to anyone who hasn't watched A Clockwork Orange.

Another relatively small question. I've been collecting materials through the bonus rewards of trade missions, but a lot of stuff seems permanently out of reach. I've never done salvage missions (or signal sources) before though. My ship has a cargo hatch and I can presumably fly over items with that thing opened to pick up salvage.
If I can do that, what's the point of using collector limpets?

It's a time thing for me. For speed and ease I use limpets. Or, indeed, if there's loads to grab. If I'm in, say, an HGE, it doesn't really take long to manually scoop.
