Well they all have limitations compared to the singles...it'll be interesting to see what is useful...
All I have seen was the table showing type names and which limpets they supported, if the performance and controller sizes means that more thought is required than lets just bung in a controller then I am much happier than I was.The universal one, if I heard correctly, can be a size 7. That might prove useful in my miner but I wonder how much less efficient it will be compared to the singles. I have feeling that, while these mutli function controllers may be useful, it may be outweighed by their comparative performance.
We shall see!
I learnt my landed ship stuff along time ago when one of the things that could be guaranteed was a recalled ship will land in the most inaccessible possible unless you recalled it to the bottom of a canyon when there was a chance it would try to fly through the walls and destroy itself. So I tend not to dismiss my ship unless I am close to something where I can expect armed visitors where I now plan to dismiss if I have landed too close.Do you CMDRs dismiss ships after deploying SRV?

It'll be interesting to hear how you get on with exploring in a Mamba as it's not particularly blessed for that kind of role.Just finished outfitting and engineering my exploration Mamba, which I will use for my next expedition in the black, next month.
Can't wait to leave!![]()
Fot the past five months, I have been using extensively a Hauler for daily stuff and mid range travels and exploration. It'll be interesting to hear how you get on with exploring in a Mamba as it's not particularly blessed for that kind of role.
But I love to hear about unconventional set-ups so do post back with how you're doing!
the App i talking about is create by chrome Iexplorerhmmm, didn't aware of inara desktop app, can't find link to it.
the three ... menu :in Chrome you can do following: Open Inara > in Chrome menu select More tools > pin to taskbar > here check "Open the window" and voila, a desktop shortcut with app-like Inara is there.
Yes, the Cutter almost seems it was built to be a miner. Not true of course and certainly not the ship a newcomer would utilise but yeah... You can fit all the tools and oodles of cargo space to stash all that mined goodness. 512 tons of platinum can rake in ~250mCR on a good day.I went mining today, for the first time in quite a while. It was a pleasure to be back in the Cutter. I do love that ship. She drifts, and then drifts some more. Kinda like me.
I spent a relaxing time out in the rings, and filled my hold with Platinum.
Life is good.
