Btw, my Thrustmaster 16000m had been having some play around the center, there was some gap in the centering mechanism.
Finally did a cheap mod to deal with it:
First, some heat shrinks to those "notches"
Then made a filler ring out of a random plastic sheet:
It seem working nice at the moment, no more play in the center. The question is... how long would the mod last

This was storm Eunice making her presence felt. Apparently took down a power line in my county leaving 33k homes without power. It's back on now - obvs - but it took 'em 24 hours to fix it.

We've talked about how poor the anti-aliasing is in ED, and it is. Jaggies, twinklies, crawlies...everywhere you look and nothing helps. ED is using rather old anti-aliasing tech, and it shows.
I logged into No Man's Sky today, because there was yet another major update (and still free). They added a buncha stuff, but one of them was support for DLAA, some sort of AI-powered anti-aliasing that's new from NVidia. My card supports it, so I turned it on.
Wowsers. It looks incredible. Just amazing. So sharp, so nice.
I really hope FDEV comes through with their promise to update the anti-aliasing in ED. I can imagine how great ED would look with such an upgrade. It's definitely on my wish list.

Visiting farseer for the FSD experimental. For non combat use, the handling with 7D G3 Dirty thrust is not bad. Still need to do shield upgrade and load of shield boosters...
BTW, had been wondering for long time, I guess collision deal absolute dmg to the shield?
