Newcomer / Intro What are you up to?

Home sweet home, after about a month out unlooking Marco Qwent and Bill Turner, then ranking for the Cutter, I'm back to my home port.

Got fined for this crap :cautious:

Yes even if there is a Beluga coming the other way you need to be doing around 70 to clear the lurking zone without a fine.
or use an advanced docking computer 🤷‍♂️. It's slow, but it usually gets the job done - even if it first tries to fly through the station wall next to the slot.
I always boost out of the mail slot. Probably not the best method of egress :D
Perfect method of egress for really small ships (that can squeeze through the gap between or next to the two Belugas that are wedged in the slot). Feasible (but less recommendable) for Cutters or T-10s, as long as there's not a Cutter (or T-10) coming the other way and you don't mind cleaning your windscreen.

Funny bug happened just now, wonder if any of you seen it. Was at a ground CZ at Summerland when the reinforcements for the enemy just stopped coming for about 2 mins and all was quiet. When they somehow resumed (i was just running around waiting), the counter for the enemy pts got stuck at 275 regardless of how many I killed. Since I was doing the CG, I just hung around for an hour plus mowing the enemies down and got myself to top 10%.

A lot of very local exploration! Touch of mining on a very volcanic moon... still no blooming selenium. Ended up going to the material trader instead - which made me realise I actually have quite a lot of everything anyway. Except boron, of which I have none, but I don't know what boron is for, so I just shuffled things around so that nothing is actually maxed and I'll always be able to pick up whatever I find. For a while.

Another moon, somewhere in the Vodyanoa system, and this one a rather pleasant 40 degrees above zero and with a lot of green goop. This is closer to the density of plants I would expect to find in 'real' xenobology; if it has evolved at all, it should probably cover the whole planet, not show up in rare patches.

It did take a while to work out how to deploy the SRV on this moon, because the Kobold Bard kept straddling dunes and making the hatch inaccessible.

And then a bit later, a pair of HMC worlds around a binary star. Although they were in conjunction from the first one, so that was a bit less exciting than hoped.

Actually... nope, that's three suns!

Technically four, but the last is 20kls away and probably hard to spot.

Also, this last one was a mostly oxygen atmosphere, with no biology on the planet. Be interested to know how stellar forge came up with that. Is there a known chemical process that would generate oxygen to the point it is the dominant gas in a planet's atmosphere?
