Newcomer / Intro What are you up to?

Sometimes, the NPC CMDR just cannae hannle it cap'n :D

Another example is my iEagle which I built for going very fast. I set the ship to autodock at a platform and the silly ADC decides to boost to start the approach. The thing is, it does 932 (iirc) and couldn't slow down enough for a proper landing.

Now that's funny, almost worth building one myself just to stick my finger in the eye of the docking computer.
Gosh. Took me a lot longer to get over 20bn! Nice going!
I should think so, when you started playing this game the minimum wage was what, $1.75 an hour?
Actually I was impressed that you figured it out yourself. Good going!
I've been playing a lot lately, I'm going to have to bug out for a month or two, I'll be filling in for a friend driving my truck in his place. He was diagnosed with cancer and will be starting treatment at the beginning of the month, sucks getting old.

Just updated stats on INARA for the first time in quite a while - was nice to see I’m in the top 1000 at no.805 now :]

Wondering what the “Misc” total in the assets section is about - a bit mysterious, as with how the Codex calculates the assets total?

Not that it’s much of a concern in-game, but it’s just interesting taking stock from time to time I guess…
You're like one of those generals from a tiny third world country with a copious amount of medals on your chest that nobody's never heard of. Just kidding, nice job, you started playing when the minimum wage was $2.35 an hour. :)

Sounds like one of our own decorated military types - we're not actually that serious about having an army now tbh, since we haven't had anyone to fight with since the old regime, which used to send troops into Angola in the 80's :sneaky:

*so yep, i don't think we'll be quite in a position to arrest Putin if he still insists on dropping in for a visit... ;p

Had yet another quirky thing happen, I've been transporting data (the kind with the skull and cross bones), I'm on auto-dock about 1.5 clicks from one of those tiny orbital platforms and a Python comes out of high-wake about 500 meters in front of me. He banks to avoid hitting me and slams into the orbital platform, never a dull moment in this game. 😄
Well, back in the museum, I once had a T-9 drop in while I was approaching an outpost. It didn't crash into the station as it turned away from it but came so close to me that I would have been able to give its underside a new paintjob without leaving the cockpit...
And, quite often, those pesky assassins in their Annies would drop in so close across my nose that I almost would have been able to ram into their canopy if I had been prepared.

I found a sweet honey of a Zenith laser pistol with the audio masking and headshot damage. Then I traipsed around some settlements, squirting some suckers with my golden honey bear. Then I mow them down to about ankle height, mow them down to about a no. 2 or 3, adding crunchy pellets from my SMG. Oh waait that's not quite the initials for my Sugar Golden Crisp C-44. thppppt.

Hey great deals on weapons at Pioneer Supplies!

Yeah, that'll go over like a turd in a punch bowl.

Ah yep, especially not in one of those nice cut glass ones they have at embassy parties… it’ll be overflowing with “diplomatic incidents” 😆

Then if they have got to go on the lam - on the luxury getaway train, each toilet bowl, conversely, can also conveniently and discreetly flush with punch instead of water.

Your just a regular John Wick, I could see you terrorizing a settlement with nothing but a Samurai sword or even a dull piece of glass, you'd make the intergalactic news about a madman mass butchering settlers because you thought they needed killing (shifty eyes and all that).

A John Wick would kill them with a Genetic Sampler or the Profile Analyser...

BZZZT

Well I haven't seen that one - but I'll bet blindly that I die 2X more than that dude.

But I'm workin on it

Well, it’s not a strawberry - calls for different technique… :geek:

Initial quotation to actually see the video
This proves my theory. It definitely needs a different level of skill...

I feel like the likes of Riddick, John Wick and Kingsman are children of the hero films of the 1980s...
I surely missed a few, there, but besides of having scenes of these movies crop up in my youtube recommendations, I don't have much business with them.

Edit:
More signals than I can adress in an hour. Waaahhgh!
