I've managed to get the Alioth permit thanks to a previous post here (Thanks Fdev....)

I've gone all out on trying to get the Guardian FSD at a site but this is well above my pay grade in difficulty/comprehension...

I parked my ship very close to the Guardian site so my Missile Defense System would destroy the missiles fired from the Guardian skimmer whatcha-call-ems, it's a big help. The MDS should be installed on the top portion of your ship.

If you still want to give it a go:

• what timezone are you in?
• do you want an escort?

I can't promise you anything from myself neither can I speak for others, but if you're still interested, that would be the minimum information required to set up an accompanied visit. If nobody from us wants to go along, there's a couple of Discords where a helping hand might be found.

This is pretty brave, because it means if the release overruns (and by "if" I mean "when" obvs) then the chat will be open for everyone to complain about the release overrunning.

I was about to head out to a Guardian site when I realised the Mandalay's power distributors were horrifically un-engineered while boosting away from Jameson. I also nudged the jump range up from 62.90 to 63.05. Every little bit counts I suppose.

I'll just have to do some surface mining on the fly.

Well I messed up the pylon thing but I at least got a few mats.

I think you have to drop a relic at a certain spot in front of that big pylon contraption before scanning it?

basically
1) light up all the pylons
2) drop a relic in front of the altar (X marks the spot)

if 2) doesn't work, you may either not have lit up all the pylons (in that case, the timer is still running) or you may be at a vessel blueprint site - those take keys you can pick up at a guardian space installation.

I just realised I should probably point out that I'm at Synuefe NL-N C23-4. Not a key related situation at present.

At the top right I found an "Unwatch" button, and I clicked it. I hope that that did it. One more notification for this thread and I'll be certifiably mad lol.

Unwatch should do it. Mostly. If someone quotes you or likes your post, you'll still get a notification though. However, you shouldn't be spammed with "reply" alerts.

I think there should be some setinngs in your profile where you can define if and howmany notofications you get fromyour watched threads.

There are options for notifications under "preferences". You can opt out of most alerts by the look.
