There could be issues if the carrier has jumped more than 300 light years from the next available star.
Well, I seem to be going through a pereiod of accepting delivery missions and forgetting to load the cargo. Grr 
On the way back to the station to pick up said cargo (wine), I was interdicted - I was also carrying some other stuff. For fun times, I submitted. In my Python. And lay about me with the five finger death punch of oversized lasers and MC's. Pew pew die! *
* OK, so they were only rated expert and didn't fight back. I felt like I was ganking on them
EDIT Phew. That was a tighter one! FdL got me this time. Both of us went to zero shields and took internal damage. I only just scraped that one! That'll learn me...

I think we all know that feeling and go through phases like that. I know I did. Right up there with "oooh, let's go mining... (10 minutes later, arriving at a juicy hotspot...) what? No limpets? Oh !"
That, by the way, was how I learned to stop hating FCs, because one just happened to be there and, lo and behold, he sold limpets! I wish there was a way to hand in a tip, because I felt he deserved it!
my main has decided to finish off his Fedneck rank, currently rear admiral and have every ship in game
although he's after the Admiral rank he's realised that his loyalty is swaying towards the Empire and a certain blue haired vixen! so much so he's pledges allegiance to her and has accumulated 800 merit points in the 1st week (do these carry over or will I have to hammer out another load each week?)
Once his minor ocd is overcome with the ranking SCiARA will throw himself at the mercy of his true unwavering love
the alt account ARAiCS is a young bull of a Fedneck that wants nothing more that to serve loyally, he's still in his sidewinder and has been doing data missions and recovering black boxes for his adopted home system of Nanomam, he so loyal that he's currently refusing to buy any other ship and is looking to dive face 1st into Core Dynamics range, he's considering an eagle for a bit of combat shenanigans but is beginning to realise that there is a huuge jump to the next fed ship...
both are in Open, ARAiCS the intention will be to run an iron man mode but we'll see. What I do know is ARAiCS will be dying one way or another when Odyssey is released and will be reborn as a loner scavenger/bounty hunter with the closest thing to mandalorian armour the game has...this is the way.

After becoming allied with half of the factions in Lave, it's clear doing so isn't really giving much in mission payouts - which I sort've knew but needed to experience. I don't think missions will be my thing again unless they up their worth. Ah well.
So, I'm dragging my ships away for pastures and experiences new. Not sure what yet

Sounds like a server side fix then.
