Okay, now I'm a little concerned because I've got a second warning about my FSD malfunctioning and it was unavailable for a second. Would a reboot fix it?

Did you pack an AMFU before you set off? That can fix internals but not your hull.

No, but I probably should have. Let's see what services we find at Blu when I stop there. My cargo hatch and supercruise modules are offline but I don't need them anyway. Reboot is also offline.

A Magenta Krait is an error message when you get kicked off the server/game crashes.
Luckily, you now re-enter the game 2.5Kls from the main star. Long time ago, you would reappear closer and have to boost until you can hit the FSD, dropping heatsinks (I don't have any) to stop you from burning up.

I've never been remotely interested in heat sinks but I'm sure someone out there finds them very useful.

Just noted the shields on my AspX are not as lightweight as they could be so off to Laksak to let Lei Cheung loose on them. After that, it'll be another abandoned settlement I think. Once I've had my fill of those, I may hunt down some alien stuff for funsies.
Hopefully, at some point, painite prices will will work in my favour. As well as the other precious metals I'm lugging around. If not, I'll work on combat.

Haven't posted in this thread since my trip to Colonia last spring. Not had much to report I reckon.
But a couple days ago I finally got around to unlocking GSRs. Had been carrying around the blueprint since March of 2019, and finally went and got the obelisk data and other bits and bobs needed to unlock them. So I've got that going for me. Which is nice.

Sell your data, it doesn't get higher in price over distance. The next leg is tougher. Keep checking a couple of jumps ahead, so you can find a scoopable if you need it. There's a zone where there's lots of T, L & Y type stars.

I thought data grew in price the further you got from the system you collected it in.
I just plotted a route to the Lagoon Sector and I was a little worried because it took a while. I'll definitely be fuel scooping whenever I get the chance. This is the part of the route which worried me most because I can only jump 27Ly.

Nope - the only distance factor is that you need to be over 20ly from the system to sell its data.

Yes, they are scannable. When you encounter a variety (i.e. Roseum, Flavium, etc) for the first time and scan it, it goes to the Codex and you get 50,000 CR. This includes the notable stellar phenomena and geological and biological spots in planets.
