Bummer. It's been fairly stable here today, although I've had a couple of disconnects. Hopefully they'll get this sorted sooner than later.

It's really strange and kind of fascinating how varied the experiences are for some people.
The weird and constant transaction error when trying to buy medpacks aside, I didn't have a single server-related problem in Odyssey. Or even a graphical bug.
But some people experience tons of problems, some can't even start the game...
The fiery hell of troubleshooting inconsistent issues like that must be really juicy. Poor Fdev.

You can get low and supposedly also mid tier mats from laser mining.
Still no doing ground missions. Worried about the bugs still.
Went to do some LTD mining. Damn, getting the LTDs is one thing, chasing prices for them is nuts, whatever is in Inara gets outdated even if I make it there in 15 mins. I think I will stick to platinum, much more stable prices.

I really need to keep an eye on the gravity info when landing at surface ports. Pytho has all the aerodynamic grace of a space shuttle carrying bricks. I think I hit every rock on Kakmburu 4 during that last approach.

I've given up trying to find bio's for now. I've found enough planets with signs but, when on the ground, they hide.
I am finding more meteorite outcrops though. Topped up my tellurium, which is nice.

I've been contributing to my first CG. Don't know who this Mahon geezer is, don't care, but with the commodities market as it is after the reset, it's the only way I can make 9M on a round trip to rank up my Trade stat. Currently in the top 50% and hopefully get into the top 25%. Not sure what a global award is, surely it should be Galactic award.
"Global" doesn't always have to mean something regarding the globe (i.e. a planet). It can also mean generally "round" (i.e. "all-encompassing" or "for everybody").

I got the Cobra's FSD fully done so now I can remote engineer other ships to grade five nice and fast without worrying about engineer rep. At least, that's the way I've come to understand it.
Now I'm off to see what I can do with Marco Qwent because even the power plant on Cobi has become an issue.

Marco Qwent is a bit rubbish, but he opens up better Engineers.
Ooh, I got lucky. I'm now the proud owner of a Grade 3 Dominator combat suit, with 2 engineering upgrades pre-installed (extra O2 and sprint duration). Plus I got a couple Grade 3 weapons also -- plasma rifle plasma shotgun, and plasma pistol.

I am currently reinstalling the game because Steam had a catastrophic CTD, and lost the otiginal download, but also somehow managed to corrupt enough of my files that the game wouldn't launch, so I uninstalled it, and am in the process of redownloading and installing it and I hope beyond hope my Cmdr is still alive and I don't have to start a new cmdr when I get the game going again. But we'll see. I've still 7 hours left of download unless my speeds pick up (currently stuck at 5 Mbps). Other than waiting for the download to.. download. I've been reading Crystal Singer (just finished it) and Killashandra, by Anne McCaffrey. Killishandra is the 2nd of a series of three books by her, the 3rd is Crystal Line. All three are really good books, so if you're a sci-fi freak and have NOT read these three books, please consider doing so, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
