I love the gunship (personally I've got the full frag setup).
I just wish she had a jump range. Not much, of course - have to keep the balans. But a bit more than a stock Sidey would be nice.
But at least one doesn't need to bother with a wave scanner, cos' one's going nowhere. :LOL:

Honk - FSS - DSS - (never, ever die) - dock somewhere with Universal Cartographics - Then: £££££££££££££

If your ship explodes, even once, all of your up-to-that-moment-not-turned-in-data will be forever gone.

I ask since you are new and not sure if you knew that. I also ask because I made three separate attempts to "strike it rich" spending 4 months out in the black and had absolutely no data to turn in afterwards due to seeing the rebuy screen my ship being destroyed.

I'm pretty careful normally, but not seen a station in a while. am currently here

There are a few carriers stationed throughout the galaxy. Good for repairs, restock and handing in exploration data.
Can't remember what the group is called that run it.

Also be sure to check for authorization to land before approaching a carrier out in the black. Not everyone's carrier will necesarily be friendly or even let you land...

You can check this in the targeting panel, first tab, click the target to get the info page will tell you if you can land...

I sometimes play in open when my friends are not around, depending on what I'm doing and flying in.

Occasionally I get bored with doing trade runs at CGs, especially if its a short turnaround, and I like to take my partially engineered PvE Chieftain into Open and "play" with the gankers. It has a nice small rebuy, 10 rebuys are less than 100 Mil. Its fun for a while...

footfall cz, wooah what have they done to the beautiful game, laggy has hell for the first five minutes. And smooths itself out.
lv 3 grade fight: 20 million for wining. the first lv(3) 1 won , lv(1) 2nd win , (lv 3)3rd lose. (lv3) 4th lose.
i won't be return back to that mini game until they sort it out!

transport/delivery missions done. Without a single enemy.
mining done, 2 indictions both won.:)

Just as a matter of interest, what is your jump range? Also, what is the class and size of your fuel scoop? Are you aiming to land on planets and you've packed your SRV?

I'm making a huge assumption that you've done a little engineering on your Beagle-bound ship of choice. While not mandatory, it really helps.

Another aid to planning your ship build is "Coriolis" which will let you play around with different modules (and select various engineering) so you can check your rig's performance:

It's handy for creating a link to your build and pasting on these boards so others can see it and advise you should you feel the need.
