Getting a little frustrated trying to gain rep with Radio Sidewinder Crew... they have quite a lot of presence, but 90% of the missions on offer in every station are in some way illegal and I'd really prefer to stay out of that.

Not just this faction either, been struggling to find decent legal missions for the past few days

Nah, it's a BGS thing.
Just give it a rest for a week or two and once the system state changes into something favorable to missions, you can try again with something more suitable to your playstyle.

Me too. Most of the missions I'm getting offered are massacres against another faction I'm trying to gain rep with.

Me too. Most of the missions I'm getting offered are massacres against another faction I'm trying to gain rep with.

Have you looked at passenger missions? I usually don't mind illegal missions as lomg as they pay well (I draw the line at wetwork/spec ops, though), but when regular missions dry up, there's usually a million or two (or a handful of brownie points) to be made with self-loading cargo.

Ah, cool. I probably just need to go pick a different faction then. I was going for two in particular, but they both seem to be very poor on legal missions right now - I think they're at war in a few systems, maybe that's affecting things?

Easy enough to try some others until I get one that's not looking to get me in trouble

I'm seeing that pesky "last scav standing is invisible" again. I wonder if he/she is hidden in a buidling... does the scanner on the Scorpion SRV pick up targets if they're inside a structure?

Picked up a ~180ly transport contract for a 5 pack of G5 materials. Which led me through the LTT 6774 system where there are 2x ELWs and a WW all stacked together. Seemed worth going in for some scan data and a holiday snap

Final destination was HR 8793, a binary star with just 1 earth-sized planet with a helium atmosphere. For having surface bases and a station, it proved to be remarkably rich in materials, so obviously I got stuck here for a while

Also, finally finished allied with Radio Sidewinder Crew after finding 2 stations that both wanted commodities the other supplies And then I dumped 3.5m worth of exploration data into my next target, who apparently I was already friendly with, and now they're done too. Time to pick the next faction to work on!

Yes, and the Contacts panel in your suit will show them as well (although not with a direction to them -- at least you can see if they exist at all).

That can make things expensive, if you want to really mess up swap modules from that to another ship and get bounties attached to both ships and all their modules.
