Well...this is peculiar...

Haha! Ok, that made me laugh out loud.
I have no screenshots today. I didn't take any for some reason. I was doing mundane stuff mostly, unlocking a couple of the easier on-foot engineers out here in the Colonia area. I have no need of them, but since I'm in the area I figured I'd pick off the low-hanging fruit.
I visited 5 settlements to unlock Eleanor Bresa. She wanted 10 digital designs to introduce me to Yi Shen. I had those in my backpack, so sure, here ya go.
Baltanos wasn't unlocked for me though. He requires you to be Friendly with The Colonia Council, and I was already Allied long ago. But the game didn't recognize this, so I had to futz around a bit. What I did was take a mission for The Colonia Council, and then abandoned it. This caused an imperceptible drop in my reputation, and the game noticed, realized I was Allied much less Friendly, and unlocked the guy. So that worked out.
After all that I was feeling claustrophobic. The Colonia area is jammed full of carriers.
So I went mining. I wanted to see if sub-surface mining was still a thing for Tritium, like it used to be. It was a bust.
The PWA doesn't work right any more. There were a few dimly-glowing rocks, but none of them had any features -- no surface or sub-surface deposits anywhere. I did find a few cores, 2 of Alexandrite and 1 of Void Opals, and those were easy to see and glowed brightly. But sub-surface seems to be gone completely.
I prospected a lot of rocks, even ones that didn't glow, and some of them contained laser-minable Tritium, but not in massive quantities. This was in a double hotspot, for what it's worth. Laser mining looked acceptable, if not amazing, but considering how much Tritium I burn on long travels, mining the stuff just doesn't seem worth it.
Anyway, that was my day
