Persistent passengers and crew are very, very much appreciated as they are a big part of the FFE fun missing in ED. P2P trading would specially be beneficial to a P2P System that also integrates storage and better communication / collaboration.
On the other hand exploration with salvaging in mysterious remnants of ancient cultures would be nice too (imagine using your mining laser to cut an ancient wreck, to get inside^^)
I need persistant things in my 'game world', for the immersion etc, but i wonder if the P2P basis of ED can actually handle that? The MP compromises are a big part of my current disinterst in the game (vs FFED3D currently), and i just wonder if that MP framework can actually work with many of the DDA stuff, that is my main concern for ED.
TBH, I'm surprised Salvaging has received so much support.
Yeah, interesting to see how obsessed people are when it comes to browsing the bins
We have to add a new feature called "Second Hand Bazaar" very soon after these salvaged treasures are piled up by the SC roadside...
I like how the list goes.
Raw word on the subject from you....
I think I'll do the next poll when Frontier either announce what's in the next update (1.4) or when they make their announcement at Gamescon in August.
Please see the first post for the extra options I'll add, and if you can think of others, please suggest them.
I'm not sure FD ever formally had multiple CMDR slots in the DDA proposals either.
If I do another poll, it won't be labelled as DDF proposals, just which features you'd like Frontier to work on.I really can't be bothered to read through the DDA again for what is, in all likelihood, a wild goose chase. But the biggie to me, is the transponder. FWIW, I don't think Module storage was a DDA suggestion: FD were dead against that sort of thing. I'm not sure FD ever formally had multiple CMDR slots in the DDA proposals either.

I've added it to the list in the first post.Poll Question: In-depth game play. Answer: Y/N

The mechanics you mention are in the DDA. Its just how you flesh these out. The quote empty room just putting in the furniture in or something like that springs to mind. Starting with Tier Two's and their interaction in play."In depth" definition is in the eye of the beholder. Current iteration of the game already offers plenty of in depth gameplay options should one care to try them. The fact you may not like them does not mean is not in depth.
Your proposed question also is vague and lacks specificity in the first place, and is therefore shallow and has no depth in itself. Might aswell have proposed:
"Poll Question: The game that Adam Lusardi wants. Answer Y/N".
Much more useful to describe actual mechanics.
Looking at those results shows unless they do all of them, there would still be lots of unhappy people. Thankless task.
