Sounds interesting. I might take a Look at that. Thanks! It's a combination of ultra settings and reshade that makes it look like that. I think I use that programm for pretty much all my games where possible by now, it just makes everything look that much nicer and in PZ case also less blurry. That's actually one of the main reasons why I started using it. You can also adjust the colors and tonemaps and a whole bunch of other stuff, it's pretty cool.
Looks really nice. I do especially like the Sign and the Design of the BuildingWhat a cool picture, @sockeyejo !
Well, that's probably the reason why I wouldn't like to be self-employed (and why I might never manage to publish a book either). Getting off-topic, but I know how hard this is - good luck with your projects!
About your last zoo-related point, I've also started to use more blueprints lately. Not so much for shelters, but for buildings and decoration. There are so many beautiful creations, why should we not use them!
What I did today: I was in the mood for a custom billboard and decided to make one for my "BintuXperience", a walkthrough binturong habitat. The actual building dates back to the release of the South East Asia pack and there is a shared outdoor area for binturongs and sun bears. Inside the building, only the binturongs can enter through a little opening in the wall, so that they get close to the guests. Thanks to the hitboxes, the bears don't fit Only disadvantage is that I placed the habitat entrance in the indoor part, so whenever a sun bear is dropped by a vet or gets boxed/unboxed, it is stuck inside and THEN the guests will of course run But it is no problem to just quickly put them over into the outdoor area manually. I'm still somewhat proud of this habitat. The screen informs the guests about that experience and offers some instructions about how to behave on the path. After placing it down, I found a typo of course!

Thanks! Hurrah for the pause buttonWhat a cool picture, @sockeyejo !
Reminds me that I've had the Idea for a completely medieval themed Zoo once. But sadly we don't have any wooden Water and Feeding Throughs. Also didn't trust my Building Skills enough back then. Maybe I'll try it when my 10000 current Projects are done. The wooden Bucket could be nicely included there.Weren't we just talking about using more blueprints? After three or so failed attempts to make a tiny castle, I decided to download this beautiful one from the workshop. I needed food and drinks in that remote corner of the zoo and wanted to incorporate a tiny habitat. Welcome to the Badger Castle! I modified the building a little bit and added a lot of decoration from the Europe Pack. And because the shops were getting busy right away, I added another magnificent blueprint, The Travelling Merchant, and created a calm little plaza to unwind. Guests absolutely love it and I think it's a nice little "more themed" attraction in the zoo - the history nerd inside me is very happy! I have some space in the front and might add the Ibex there. And if we ever get ponies or birds or whatever looks domestic, I could absolutely imagine expanding this with a little farm. I'm now torn which other animal to add in that corner. I was planning to do the cougar (never used them), but now I'm drawn towards the lynx instead.

Absolutely love it. Really wanted something like thisThat looks great @Lea_G and speaking of the Workshop. I am trying to remember to upload more stuff to the Workshop, and I made this transportation box today which is now to be found here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2744819592

That looks good! I really enjoy the workshop for exactly those props and itemsThat looks great @Lea_G and speaking of the Workshop. Same here! Also thinking about a Renaissance parc in Italy. But like you say, not enough trust in the building skills, plus not enough trust in my patience Maybe the time will come... Not that I have even started the Norwegian zoo which I've had in my mind for more than a year now. And another problem is that I get bored in sandbox really quickly, but in franchise or challenge it is super hard to make a beautiful and planned-out zoo.Reminds me that I've had the Idea for a completely medieval themed Zoo once. What do you do in a zoo game? Yes, that's right. You spend hours building a parking lot c:
Gonna work on the general entrance area next time, then the entrance building and maybe after that I'll finally be able to start with the first habitat layout
Looks really nice. Didn't leave enough Space in my newest Zoo for that. In my last european Zoo I've built a Parking Garage and included the Roof of it into the Park Design. Built a nice Garden and a Restaurant on Top of it.What do you do in a zoo game? Yes, that's right. You spend hours building a parking lot c:

I think my Zoo/Theme Park that has a Nordic Mythology Theme is also in Norway. Just didn't do much there yet. I'm not that good at creating good looking Buildings with the Arctic Theme. Had a good Design Idea for the Restaurant there but then I've struggled with the Roof because I didn't know how to add a Roof without letting it look bad. Might try to build some of those Grass covered Houses when I'll continue that Zoo someday. Not that I have even started the Norwegian zoo which I've had in my mind for more than a year now.
Really niceElephant time!
