What did you do in Planet Zoo today?

Here's the viewing cabin into the breeding habitat:

And the male habitat:

Sheeesh @NZFanatic you made progress with your building game, man. Looks awesome!
Thank you! I am still absolutely terrible and attempting anything purely off-grid, though. I rely on gridded pieces for viewing galleries and such, so there isn't a lot of creativity involved with the paths. I would love to make a curvy covered pathway somewhere in the zoo for example but I just can't figure it out.

Build a bat habitat and were really enjoying myself.

I am absolutely not happy with how this forum is handled lately and wanted to leave... then realized I spend money on image hosting to not resize my pics all the time. So yeah, to not throw 80 $ out of the window, I'll stay for this thread only and my PM box - which is annoying.

Built my meerkat habitat! Very small and tidy, I think. Only two just now because I like to breed a mob rather than just starting with one.

I think I might put warthogs on the opposite side of the path. I was originally intending on there being Aldabra tortoises here as a stand in for the leopard tortoise I'd like to put in, but I might save them for the end of the Africa section. I think next I'm going to add in some broad herbivore habitats opposite the tigers to draw more people down in that direction. Probably Przewalski's horses and water buffalo. I haven't used the buffalo yet but I like them. Then I'll jump across back to Africa and do the first of three big herbivore habitats (giraffes/zebras/sable antelope/ostriches + white rhinos/nyala + elephants assuming I don't start again when the December DLC comes).

I think I'll probably spend more time on the other side of the zoo over-all, since it requires much less thought. That side is basically my "throw in whatever I feel like" side excluding the list of African species I've chosen. Still determining where lemurs fall though. I don't typically include them with "Africa" even though they technically are.

Looks really good👍

Suuuper awesome habitat, blueprint worthy in my opinion! Love it.
Hey, got a question regarding "the opposite of the path".

In most zoos I have been to, pathes are always only on one side to help guest flow and that guests know where to look and are not torn between two habitats facing each other. Is it different in the zoos you've been to? Because I always struggle in PZ what t put on the other side to make things interesting.

Oh yes it does help. My recreation zoos funnily have better guest flow compared to my creative zoos which have wider paths, 2 habitats facing each other would always have traffic jams with large groups on each side of the path. I like to have rock walls, a forest scene or some animal board signs on the opposite side. Even a plaza area with picnic tables/benches if the area is big enough

For the most part you are right, but I have occasionally seen animals on opposite sides. It also depends on space.

Went and finished some stuff in my zoo. The entrance part is pretty much done now, only need to add a gift shop/info combi and that's it...if only I could decide what animal to go with first then 😅
