What did you do in Planet Zoo today?

I couldn't help myself and deleted most of the entrance plaza of Biopark. So, after the gift shop, I'm redoing the rest of this area, too. The entrance itself won't be touched (I still like it a lot) but I wasn't really happy with the rest which was among the first things I've ever built in this game, so the area didn't really keep up with my other areas in terms of aesthetics and my improved building skills.
I started with the area that once was a lama enclosure and created a small natural swan pond with a modern and eco-friendly restaurant.

Next step is the bee and butterfly garden which will also showcase a few local (European) reptiles and amphibians. It's located just opposite of the swan pond. Check out the other thread (What do you want to do...) for more of this plan.

Alright i'm bored of building for dinosaurs now, here's the last set of pictures from the prehistoric park, pure scenery parts of zoos are rather boring to build for in the long run with no excitement seeing animals use the space you have built, just static dinosaur models staring at you. The last pictures will feature a oceans themed area where we can find ocean centric dinosaurs and some mongolian dinosaurs for some reason.

You could add Enclosures for Birds and Crocodilians. Maybe a Monitor Lizard near the Water Area because it is a Mosasaur Relative

Calling marine reptiles dinosaurs is the hidden 8th deadly sin
Absolutely agree. Can't be forgiven.
At least better than weird People that for some Reason believe Mammoths are Dinosaurs. Guess todays Elephants must be Dinosaurs too then🙃

Wow. Just wow. I love everything about it and it's rare that I see the conservation syle used in a way that I like. Could look at your zoo forever.

Today I finished a double habitat for water and Nile monitors. They have an indoor area and water deep enough to dive (unfortunately the Nile monitor is still waiting to learn how to dive).

The indoor area is simple, but I like how the beaver pool works, even if it doesn't enrich the animals.

I have also started working on my next building for the zoo, which is for the animals I like the least, but I'm really having fun doing it and it's something different to what I've done until now.

😍 I absolutely love the Indoor Area

I started work on my new zoo which is set in Spain.

Here are the cat enclosures, two for small cats (caracals and hopefully servals in the future, otherwise maybe fennec foxes will end up in there) and one for lions. The idea is that this is a city zoo with buildings from many different periods. These were built in the 1970s but have been more recently renovated.
