Thank you for the advice. I can´t move the planters much more, but I can change the rocks, I will also do that with my current project.. I got abit tired of the camel habitat and needed some new fresh start of something, so I completely redid my Flamingo habitat (not done yet at all, but basics are up, need to tweak rocks etc, then guest places, then shelter.)A little late I know, but I finally had time to actually look at all the other stuff and I also got a few suggestions in case you plan to redo some stuff.
I really like the concept of the habitat with the planters and rocks as part of the fence but they look a bit repetitive and unnatural. I'd suggest using many different rocks with different rotations, angles, colors and sizes to make it look more uneven and organic.
As for the planters I think you could sink them a bit more into the ground to give the guests a better view, maybe even add a small barrier to them incase you thinks it's too low then. And I don't know if you play in sandbox but if so you could turn the foliage needs off and add as much as you want. If not try to work with smaller bushes, rocks and only a few palm trees instead of the huge palm in the middle and all those around the lake, it'll give you the opportunity to cover more in green without it adding too much to the plant coverage, so you could put more stuff in the planters.
Oh and another thing that really helps make things look more organic, if that's what you wanna go for, is using rounded corners and curves instead of hard, square corners and grids.
Hope that helps in some way and I really like your buildings as well btw, looking forward to seeing more![]()
I usually try and hide the flamingo feeders in shallow water, so when the flamingoes eat it looks like they're just eating out the water like in the wild. It would be great if we could actually put an underwater feeder in for the flamingos, one that dispenses shrimp or something.
In the Enclosure in my Japanese Zoo they are sunken into the Ground so they are barely visible. But it seems like the Animation won't play because of it but the Animals still get their Food. I really like the Idea that someone once wrote somewhere that they could add a Pump that pumps the Flamingo Food directly into the WaterI am just unsure if the staff can reach it then? might look it up later, if I get time to tinker with the game. Because you are right that would look great, also in my situation.
Yes underwater feeder would be great in some instances, I do like the somewhat shallow water style however.

Last time I had to add a sort of bridge out of climbing equipment for the keepers to reach it, now that I think about it, but with the new wharf pieces this could end up looking pretty good anyway (though I'm not sure if the keepers can walk on the wharf pieces, haven't tried it before).I am just unsure if the staff can reach it then? might look it up later, if I get time to tinker with the game. That was me, literally two posts above yours.I really like the Idea that someone once wrote somewhere that they could add a Pump that pumps the Flamingo Food directly into the Water

Wasn't referring to this. You wrote about some kind of Underwater Feeder for Flamingos but approximately a Year ago someone mentioned a Pump to fill a whole Body of Water with itThat was me, literally two posts above
I fine tuned the edges of my Zebra and water buffalo habitat from the boats tour side and started the Mandrill habitat. Currently it will probably only be visible from the boats tour, though I'd prefer if it would also be visible to guests that don't wan't to take the boat ride. Don't know how to incorporate that though.
I was planning on playing a few hours, but can't seem to concentrate today.![]()
Well, what's ypur theme? Or better yet what animals do you have in your zoo?I also still need a few ideas for my next habitats, I've no plan whatsoever so far ^^'

Do you have pics?
Gemsbok and flamingos, both from Africa....I don't really have a theme this time around, it's more of a neutral building style and I also don't plan on seperating section by continent or anything, so it's pretty much completely open. And the zoo's pretty new, only have Flamingos and a Gemsbok habitat so far which I posted a few pages back:

What did you do in Planet Zoo today?
If it makes it any better, I've had two jaguars and two clouded leopards in my trade centre for days while I desperately seek out some kind of inspiration for their habitats. Your gemsbok habitat looks awesome though, I really love the backstage area. tell that to my two sunbears that are in...forums.frontier.co.uk

How about a watering hole enclosure, complete with a rhino, some giraffes, zebras, and ostriches?
Ostriches might be a good alternative. Zebras and gazelles like staying with those animals because they can see much farther and give a warning for potential predatorsOkay, working on this right now...not sure if I'm gonna put Giraffes in there as well or not but Zebras and Gazelles for sure.
