Here's a kind of habitat we don't see very often - habitats with overhead walkways that are completly custom built. 4 mesh covered habitats linked with 2 overhead walkways for each set - 2 habitats for snow leopard and 2 for amur leopard. I'm suprised that the real size of walkway actually works for the leopards, however my findings of this build found out that those habitat logs are required for them to work - the mesh like flooring like the real zoo does not register as a traversable area.

From my side i only did some chill building today, starting a bridge and a lama habitat.
Its nudged between the river and the guest path, with the other side of the river fortified with large stones to ensure that they stay where they should be.
And a second view from the capybara deepdive
The habitat isnt really that impressive though and rather what it did to my zoo as i finally started filling in a blank spot thats visible from many places in my zoo, so have some more shots from all around!
What felt like a small step while building turned out to be a very large one by accident as the new cohesiveness really does make my zoo feel more real and makes it finally come together as a "real" place now that the sightlines are slowly being completed and i couldnt be more pleased

May I ask what sources you are using to gather that info?
the websites of the facilities. I had to use Zoochat for one though because they didn't have a list on their site
Note that the vast majority of aza websites only list select popular animals to advertise their animal collection. Most of my research is done via zoochat species lists and then crosschecked via recent YouTube tours of the zoo.

252 facilties... that's gonna take a while. If my recent work on the woodland park zoo, a major aza zoo, is anything to go by, Most of the collections will be extremely difficult to find references for. There is also backstage animals and ambassador animals featured at zoos that will not appear on species lists unless its the odd picture on zoochat from someone walking down a path they shouldn't be.
Although it does sound a fun project, have fun

Numbers vary but a solid estimate could be 500 zoo facilities across america. So there could be say 350 unaccredited zoos however there are other accreditation organisations such as the ZAA which have around 60 zoo and aquariums - at a lower standard of animal welfare.

Yeah and it will definetly better than having none. Zootierliste is such a usefull thing and having something similar for other regions would be pretty dope
