What did you do in Planet Zoo today?

I'm currently having problems with my graphics card. Windows is disabling it while I'm playing Planet Zoo. All drivers are up to date, and it's installed correctly. It's currently showing up again and active. I hope (for my own sake and my wallet; I had to buy a new car a few weeks ago because my old one had engine trouble, and the Switch 2 also costs a lot of money) that it'll work again now and I won't have to buy a new PC. Theoretically, he's his age at 5. But it doesn't necessarily have to be now. 🙈

Did a bit more castle work. This is actually going to be next to the zoo and is based on two real places, one in South Tirol and the other in Bavaria.

As always, all of you do an awesome job with your creations. Wish I was as skilled.
Today I decided to revisit guided tours. Now I don’t like having to hire more educators to keep up with the pace and I’m still frustrated that the educators have to get so tired doing and on top of that build them a new staff room very close by to their intermission areas.
I wish there was a spot for educators to take a seat without guests seeing it as unprofessional or even when eating for guests.
I decided to try again at my primate zoo focusing on the lesser apes/lemurs and later went to my monkey house. Fortunately they are small and easy to navigate. I built new staff centers to help the over tired educators and hired enough educators to keep up with the flow. Now I need to pay the educators better and gonna need some Scenary ideas to include in the voids of those houses.

Found back the sparkle of Jenta Zoo.
Actually because of all your amazing creations.. so thanks for that!! :)

All of that i left undone for too long. And manage some secenery around the way.

I think now all of them are happy finally! :)

Next days i am planning to work on the elephant habitat with an overpass as connection between the two parts of their habitat.

Small update for my San Ramentos Zoo, no major developments but I've made some light improvements to an Otter/Babirusa exhibit I've had in the zoo for a while. I can't quite place it but it feels like something's missing or like something's off with the design 🤔 will likely come back to it later. Any feedback on the design is appreciated! I think the shade structure over the underwater viewing is what's irking me.

I've also done some VERY EARLY planning for a large exhibit building called "M.O.B.A.S." (Museum of Biodiversity and Animal Sciences). I don't intend to work on it until way later, but I felt like getting the basic wall layout done so I have an idea of what I want it to look like.
When it's built, it will include: A nocturnal animal hall (Kiwis, Wombats, etc.), a hall dedicated to the waters of the southern US (Alligators, Terrapins, etc.), and an outdoor area with primate exhibits (Madagascar-oriented). My planned "lore" for the area is that it had to cut certain exhibits due to budget reorganizing, so there'll be a closed-off area that once held Manatees, as well as several empty exhibits lining the main atrium that once served as a Small Mammals Hall 🤫
