What did you do in Planet Zoo today?

I've been cutting down on my workshop subscriptions. Not because they're bad in anyway, but I had nearly 3000. I'm down to about 1400 but want to get it down to 1000. Been using both the blueprint tab and the workshop for the "my subscriptions" pages.

It just slows down the loading of construction/facility/nature tabs so much. It would be nice if we could either A: be able to remove tags from blueprints, even the Frontier assigned ones, or B: have a hotkey that turns off the blueprints showing in the tab right from the start. I am so glad we have the workshop and the amazing talent it brings, especially to us not so good builders, but sometimes it's just so hard to find something, and so easy to skip over something.

Built my staff building. I don't even know what it's supposed to resemble, but I'm happy with the landscaping around. Building nice roofs is impossible. Edit: It might actually look better flat.

And my first animals, the badgers and skunks, are in. Their habitats are small and represent an older part of the zoo. In my head they used to be aviaries but were made open air and planted up a bit. Nothing too fancy for our backyardigans.

I'm currently working on my mini Africa House. All it is is basically three exhibits; bats, puff adders, and scarabs. Beyond it will be the meerkats and Aldabra tortoises but before I do either of those I'm going to put in some food/drink, restrooms, etc.

😃 Reminds me of the former Stable at the Place where I help with the Horses that is used to storage all the Food and Straw.
You could do something like that as a Back Story for it. For Example a old Ranch that was bought to be developed into a Zoo

I finished the Africa House, which will be the entrance to Kinross Zoo's Africa section. I'm also not entirely happy with it so I'll probably end up rebuilding it. Obviously the area around it hasn't been touched yet so it looks pretty boring and barren. Inside is a bat exhibit, a puff adder exhibit, and a scarab exhibit. I have screenshots but since I'm probably going to redo it all I won't bother posting them. It's super frustrating that this took me every free minute I had today and it turned out to be not at all what I wanted.

I deleted part of my entrance of Deekelsen, cleaned up the seal habitat blueprint out of my one shot habitats files (which basically means I have to do it anew in Deekelsen now), deletednthe raccoon habitat (yes, again) and am left with an only half finished entrance and no finished habitat yet.

I love this game with all my heart, but I swear to my goddess, I completely unlearned to play ever since the australia pack. Not able to do a zoo for more than a few weeks. Okay, Murmeldorf was an exception, but I abiondoned that zoo for month because I finally aaaalmost finished it.

Not today and not at the weekend, but I remanaged my whole franchise since the anniversery event.
I have created different maps (OZ/Desert, Asia/Temp.,Asia/Tropical, Europe/Taiga, Africa/Grass, Africa/Tropical, NA/Grass, SA/Grass)
I'm in the process of emptying my trade center first and dividing the animals between the different maps, then I'll add more until I have them all.

Then on Friday Mr. Amazon will bring me the new Pokemon game. (I'm a bit old school and I want the packaging!) I really didn't want to be so hyped, the last games were rather sh**ty, but somehow this wave rolled over me and I can't wait to experience a new adventure with my little crocodile Harvey.
I'll be gone for sure for a while then, but keep an eye on the forums until the new DLC comes out. :giggle:

:D I'm also like that. But only really with Games that you don't need Steam for. Bought Fallout 3 with all Expansions last Year👍 Also plan on getting New Vegas with all Expansions next Year or whenever I have enough Money to not need to save it all the Time

🙃? Sounds adorable

Been playing some Spore
Thanks, reading this reminded me that I should look if a new Video about the Developement of Elysian Eclipse was released. It'll be a similar Game that I really want to play when it's out. 😂 I hope Thrive will also someday be finished but because they want to make it as scientifically accurate as possible (what I find absolutely awesome) they are probably still developing the Cell Stage

😂😂 they mean the new fire starter for the new game is a crocodile! I’m super excited too! The game looks like a massive step forward

Those that are old school are just plain cool.
New school try to be old school but can't compete with the coolness of old school so they try to up the ante...
I have no clue where I was going with this, but yeah, I'm pretty old school too, man. I have 3 2001 Xboxes, all working, a Gameboy Advance, and old old old PC games (Creatures 3, SimCity 4. I still even have games like SimSafari, SimCopter, Sim Theme Park)
Don't y'all remember the good old days when you'd buy a game and just have it? Your own copy to do whatever you wanted? Now everything has microtransactions and stuff like that

There are also good Games that are new and try to mimic older Games. Ever played Heroines Quest? It's a really good Game developed to be like a old DOS Game (reminds me of Lure of the Temptress) in a Norse Mythology Setting. Nice, it's also on Steam, so I don't need to search the Website I've downloaded it from👍
Highly recommend this Game. It has multiple Character Classes (3 if I remember correctly), a nice Battle System, Survival Mechanics, if I remember correctly voiced Characters and Riddles to solve (at some Points it might be useful to have a Website with the Solutions for those. If I remember correctly there was a Crystal Riddle in Svartalfheim that I really needed to look the Solution up for). Speaking of Svartalfheim, they did some really amazing Stuff with that World but I don't want to spoil too much🤫
