My exploring ship is an Asp Explorer which I've named 'The Flying Bison' in reference to Avatar - The Last Air Bender. I realise that Appa is actually a Sky Bison not a Flying Bison, but the latter seemed apt, so I stuck with it.

My current exploration ship is an Anaconda called ERV Orgun, he was named after the mecha warrior you can see in my avatar

I also have my retired Krait Phantom, Nefeli II, she was named after a Mechina's Song called "On Wings of Nefeli". Nefeli I was an AspX, my first attempt to build an exploration ship, i hated it so much because of its terrible performance.

In order of lowest jump range to highest:
Tenjin, Krait Phantom, 52Ly
Sojourn, AspX, 58Ly
Artemus Explorer, DBX, 61Ly
Asura Explorer, Anaconda, 70Ly

I collected all the ships and named them all after concept/abstract nouns or adjectives, e.g. "Sovereignty" for my Cutter, "Supremacy" for my Corvette (absolutely stole that from Star Wars), "Victorious" for my bounty hunter Mamba, "Triumphant" for my AX FDL, and so on. I align Imperial so I try to make the names at least somewhat suitable for basking. I did break the scheme for my FC, but that's because I named it INV Imperator. Can't bask harder than that.

Following that naming scheme, I have two exploration ships. "Dominion" is the exploraconda and "Reverence" is the Krait Phantom.
