My Anaconda is called the Adventure Galley, after the famous privateer ship belonging to William Kidd. It was a very unusual vessel at the time in that it had both oars and sails, but ultimately ended up sunk somewhere on the coast of Central Asia.

My first AspX was just "Discovery", but with a ship ID "OV-103", since I was naming my ships after space shuttles at the time. After my Sgr-A* trip, I retired it and built a second one called "USSC Discovery One" with ID "XD-1", as a 2001 Space Odyssey reference.

My exploraconda right now is called "Excalibur One". Just because I like swords, knights, and Arthurian stories.

My Exploraconda is named Nao Victoria, in honor of the first ship to go around the world, led by captain Juan Sebastian Elcano, who left Sevilla (Spain) in 1519 and returned 3 years and 15 days later ...indeed, with the ship cellar full of species (the equivalent to our "rare commodities", ...a lot of credits [big grin]).
