I'll throw in my trusty Cobra III, the "Happy Pig Demon".
She's been my trusty steed for two years now, only interrupted by a few days in my Python "Lunatic Fridge" for some engineering / mission running. Glad I'm on the road again now!
Technically I also have a Hauler, "Wallflower II", but because I love the Demon so much the Wallflower doesn't get much appreciation sadly.

I hadn't thought about it, but with the ADS sound, Echoes might not be a bad name for an exploration ship. I'd name my FDL, "Several Species of Small Furry Pirates Gathered Together in a Wing and Grooving With an Interdict." It won't fit the name plate though. For a T-9, A Saucerful of Secrets might be alright...or Arnold Layne.

My current exploration ship is my Asp Explorer, Strix. About 350 of my 400 kly have been flown in this ship.
My previous exploration ship, now retired, is my Cobra Mk III, Holy Fire. She's the ship in my sig line, coming back with 1% hull remaining after an encounter with an NPC Asp out in the deep soon after launch, when such things still happened.
And my first exploration ship (other than my unupgraded starter Sidewinder) was my Freagle, the venerable (and now destroyed) Eagle Scout. I didn't really know how to fit an exploration ship. It was fully armed and shielded, and carried a tiny fuel scoop. I think I spent more time scooping than anything else.

My Anaconda is the Thunderchild. Named after the ironclad in H.G. Wells' The War of the Worlds. She was intended to be fitted as a battleship, but instead became my primary explorer.

My second account is the "wife" of my first account, and "she" is the explorer now, that way I can keep my other account in the bubble cause that one has all the assets, rank and money. I just slightly engineered an Anaconda, with the engineers available on this account and managed to get 60 Ly range on it, and still able to boost up to 317. The ships name is "Turquoise Dreams", the account has logged just over 2 weeks game time and has over 10k first discoveries, and is already Elite in exploration, Mostly Harmless in Combat and Merchant in Trading, and no rank with Imps or Feds. "She" has over 10k level 3 scans and no level 2 scans and has already logged over 24k Lys....
