What other games are we all playing?

We tried another game on Tabletop Simulator last night. It works best when it's being GM'ed by someone who is expert at TTS's many quirks.

Recently got Jedi Fallen Order and it's pretty good, getting a Tomb Raider (remake) vibe from it with the climbing etc. I'm SO crap though, it's seems to be totally reliant on timing on harder difficulties and my reactions at 49 are clearly bunk :(. Had to drop to easiest setting as eben on normal I got smegged by the multi boss fight on Kasshyyyyyyyyyyk.

Closly watching Horizon Zero Dawn, looks spiffing! Waiting for a sale.

My teacher used to say that my head was in the clouds :p

I felt Jedi fallen Order was a soulless thing, played it a week or two after release.

Felt no connection to any of the annoying and bland characters myself including the main one. The combat was reasonable I suppose. Sadly the story just didn't have any real oomph to it for me either. I think I got a little over 20 hours into it and gave up on the thing barely remember anything about it now.

Been a long time since I played anything like a really good star wars game.

I've been getting back into The Long Dark. It's the only survival game I've played where it feels like you are trying to survive and not just building a shed
It is indeed. Also find it refreshing without zombies. Just Mr Wuffles and Uncle Bear. The hardest diff really transformed how I play. It's good challenge for a casul like me but I probably wouldnt enjoy it much without the map kknowledge I have accumulated.

The real time weather has seemed to be working great for me so far. I've been checking real weather where I fly on Intellicast and the sim seems to be matching it well, I'm super happy with it.

The weather simulation is what sets this sim really apart from everything else. It's a generational LEAP over the other sims.
Have you braved Artic weather with a flight plan through mountains or snow/fog/blizzards yet? What about geographically like flying from Invercargill, Kiwiland to Antartica?

forgot to ask: does the game include Artic wild life like Penguins, seals etc. the way it does Savannah animals in the African continent?

Although that particular grass is Custom Shaders Patch's proc-gen grass 😎

I have indeed tried ACC. Bought it from Steam Early-Access the very day it came available 😄
Nice.

I only jumped into ACC recently, and subsequently bought all the DLC (just like for Corsa before). Absolutely top notch quality - and the GT4 cars are a lot of fun to drive. Does make me wonder sometimes if that tenner for one of Elite's ship kits is really justified:unsure:

I actually haven't played ACC since it was officially released. It was still struggling with growing pains and my then GFX card had troubles running it smoothly. Thus, it kinda faded to the background while I was busy with AC, Elite, Star Citizen and others. Plus I got bored with modern race cars. Been having a blast with pretty much just street cars, old and new, in Assetto Corsa. And with all the mod cars and tracks, there's enough content to last a life-time. Not to mention Content Manager and Custom Shaders Patch, which basically transforms AC into a completely different game.

I hear you - although I read (and watched) recent reviews that mention many of the early issues have been addressed now, so might be worth giving it another try - it runs like a charm for me, looks beautiful and the AI is sublime - I didn't think I'd be into GT racing that much (not a fan IRL), but I wanted a racing, not just driving game, and this certainly delivers on that front.

Indeed, I've by no means forgotten about ACC. I've kept close tabs on it eventhough it's a bit on the back burner at the moment. It's waiting there until the GT bug bites again.

Guess I'm in a driving phase, myself. Not so much pure racing but just vibin' through, say French countryside at 200 km/h in some ridiculous death boat 😂 And as I have a serious dislike for chicanes, I really enjoy all the classic race tracks from bygone eras. No chicanes, no tilkedromes. Just complete and utter disregard for human life 😅

I had some icing above 10,000 feet when flying from the mainland to the Utter Hebrides...suprised me a bit when I couldn't see out of the windows since I thought it was clouds. When I switched to external view I could see the ice forming on the leading edges of the wings...popped back into the cockpit and shoved the de-icer on full blast, sorted it out.

There's no fauna yet in the Arctic or Antarctic...as far as I know. Bears, seagulls and other stuff around Alaska... but no penguins in the southern hemisphere at all. They're only found there...no pingus in the Arctic or northern hemisphere. I'll have to fix a flight around the Malvinas to see if there are any there. :)

Still pressing random buttons on the Garmin autopilot and watching in dismay as my plane plummets from the sky...had to read and watch a few tutorials on setting it up...too many buttons.

Yeah I have to admit, driving those older cars feels more visceral compared to the modern ones where (factory) assists make things a little too easy at times (I still manage to spin them regularly enough!).
