Jeez. I had to focus on the headrest to check it's the game... are those clouds set to Ultra?
Is that Assetto Corsa?I'm keeping my feet (wheels) firmly on the ground.

Yep.Is that Assetto Corsa?
It is indeed. Also find it refreshing without zombies. Just Mr Wuffles and Uncle Bear. The hardest diff really transformed how I play. It's good challenge for a casul like me but I probably wouldnt enjoy it much without the map kknowledge I have accumulated.I've been getting back into The Long Dark. It's the only survival game I've played where it feels like you are trying to survive and not just building a shed![]()
I thought I recognised that grassYep.
Although that particular grass is Custom Shaders Patch's proc-gen grassI thought I recognised that grassAwesome game - if you haven't tried Competizione yet by the way, you should - it's ace.
Have you braved Artic weather with a flight plan through mountains or snow/fog/blizzards yet? What about geographically like flying from Invercargill, Kiwiland to Antartica? The real time weather has seemed to be working great for me so far. I've been checking real weather where I fly on Intellicast and the sim seems to be matching it well, I'm super happy with it.
The weather simulation is what sets this sim really apart from everything else. It's a generational LEAP over the other sims.
Nice.Although that particular grass is Custom Shaders Patch's proc-gen grass
I have indeed tried ACC. Bought it from Steam Early-Access the very day it came available![]()
I actually haven't played ACC since it was officially released. It was still struggling with growing pains and my then GFX card had troubles running it smoothly. Thus, it kinda faded to the background while I was busy with AC, Elite, Star Citizen and others. Plus I got bored with modern race cars. Been having a blast with pretty much just street cars, old and new, in Assetto Corsa. And with all the mod cars and tracks, there's enough content to last a life-time. Not to mention Content Manager and Custom Shaders Patch, which basically transforms AC into a completely different game.I only jumped into ACC recently, and subsequently bought all the DLC (just like for Corsa before). Absolutely top notch quality - and the GT4 cars are a lot of fun to drive. Does make me wonder sometimes if that tenner for one of Elite's ship kits is really justified![]()
I hear you - although I read (and watched) recent reviews that mention many of the early issues have been addressed now, so might be worth giving it another try - it runs like a charm for me, looks beautiful and the AI is sublime - I didn't think I'd be into GT racing that much (not a fan IRL), but I wanted a racing, not just driving game, and this certainly delivers on that front.I actually haven't played ACC since it was officially released. I had some icing above 10,000 feet when flying from the mainland to the Utter Hebrides...suprised me a bit when I couldn't see out of the windows since I thought it was clouds. When I switched to external view I could see the ice forming on the leading edges of the wings...popped back into the cockpit and shoved the de-icer on full blast, sorted it out.Have you braved Artic weather with a flight plan through mountains or snow/fog/blizzards yet? forgot to ask: does the game include Artic wild life like Penguins, seals etc. the way it does Savannah animals in the African continent?
Yeah I have to admit, driving those older cars feels more visceral compared to the modern ones where (factory) assists make things a little too easy at times (I still manage to spin them regularly enough!).Indeed, I've by no means forgotten about ACC. I've kept close tabs on it eventhough it's a bit on the back burner at the moment. It's waiting there until the GT bug bites again.
Guess I'm in a driving phase, myself. Not so much pure racing but just vibin' through, say French countryside at 200 km/h in some ridiculous death boatAnd as I have a serious dislike for chicanes, I really enjoy all the classic race tracks from bygone eras. No chicanes, no tilkedromes. Just complete and utter disregard for human life
