Totally Accurate Battle Simulator - macOS version, bit of knock about fun to fill 10 minutes when time to play is limited.
Depending on what you mean by "pure single player", I find No Man's Sky to be Subnautica on steroids, and possibly its most valid alternative.Anyone able to recommend any other Subnautica-like games that are pure Single Player?
By "pure single player", i mean no MP at all. Many of the "survival" type games I've looked at have a SP mode but are really designed around playing MP. Tried NMS, couldn't get into it in the 2 hours I had before the Steam refund window closed.Depending on what you mean by "pure single player", I find No Man's Sky to be Subnautica on steroids, and possibly its most valid alternative.
NMS has the single player mode (which is what I tend to play).
MSFS 2020 on Steam Sale.
Based on what I keep hearing, not until it’s 50% off.MSFS 2020 on Steam Sale.
Not likely, yet.Based on what I keep hearing, not until it’s 50% off.
I can deal with the graphics. The flight model is just a convenient method of getting to places- and that burns many who live to fly.I've played NMS a few times and couldn't get past the cartoonish graphics and flight model. But that's just me.
I can wait. I’ve still got plenty of games in my backlog, and I’ve got a few older flight sims in my library. Not to mention Kerbal Space Program, which lets me design my own planes. Not likely, yet.![]()
MSFS is both amazing and also one of the biggest disappointments in my gaming life. Of course this is a huge example of YMMV, based on where you like to fly, how good your internet is, how patient you are with bugs and constant HUGE updates, and what you think about games that are never finished but sold as if they are..Based on what I keep hearing, not until it’s 50% off.
This game looks fun, but then I think - "It's just Space Engineers Lite, and I already own SE!"Hardspace: Shipbreaker on Steam Sale.

I've only watched some gameplay videos, so I can't really argue on any sure footing. I just felt like, "I'm already grinding up ships in Space Engineers, so..." That said, I thought for sure Shipbreaker was a VR title when I first saw the videos. Shame it isn't, because I think that would really separate it from the pack.I think it's one aspect of Space Engineers (and a few others), but taken a deep dive into. The mechanics are great, and I'm loving it.
