When will the npc's stop cheating and play as cmdr's do?

They've been doing this for a while and nothing has been done to rectify the situation.

I mean, we can't jump with our hard points out while npc's certainly can. That's just one glaring example of npc's cheating.

This one isn't cheating but it certainly is an annoyance. "Give way to larger ships. " You're flying a cutter but a sidewinder zips by and jams you in the slot. Why don't npc's obey this rule?

FD, can you please give npc's a little more attention? Make them obey the same rules cmdr's have to so we can play on an even field.

That's not cheating, it's called a bug. As is the 0% power plant bug.
Yes, FD should fix them.

The only actual cheat they do, is infinite multicannon ammo, because otherwise they run out, which is daft. Lol

They can't. Making NPC's "as good" as a human means adding some cheats to compensate for the fact that they, are in fact, . Removing these artificial advantages will simply make them more . Like in v1.4, when they used to do the kebab roll, and boost in to asteroids.

As funny as it was, it wasn't good for gameplay.

That's how it works for Commanders.

I don't think NPC's having a few tricks to spring on us is anything to really complain about. Consider just how much peril they put us in now. Do we really need to hinder them any more? We can at least Menu Log, what do these poor saps have?

The bug is that they don't loose any power at all and its been confirmed to death. Speaking of:

Apparently yes it is fixed.

NPC=Non Player Character.
CWC=Cheating Weasel Character.:p

For CMDRs, a standard malfunction is 40% power for five seconds before returning to 100%, while having the PP destroyed (zero integrity), assuming you don't explode on the spot, means 20% power for five seconds, before returning to 50% output until the PP is repaired (or you explode).

If at all possible I build my ships to keep the FSD and (bi-weave) shield generator charging through any attack to the PP that doesn't destroy the ship, and the thrusters working through any attack that doesn't destroy the PP.
