hahahaha the funny thing is that people think that honk scoop jumping is more fun in a group than it is alone hahahahahahaha!

Why is that funny? Expeditions are ​more fun in a group than they are alone. I guess this is something to do with your reduction of an expedition to 'honk scoop jump'? There's also talk, laugh, socialise, enjoy, learn, share, BELLYFLOP!!!....I could go on.

When you don't log in because you remember there is more grinding to do...

I have found that initially I "don't log in because" [insert reason, which is usually one or more bugs], but as days turn into weeks, the specific reason kinda melts away into a generic "Meh..." That's where I'm at right now. Meh... Usually once I get to this stage, the only thing to snap me out of it is a very compelling CG (which are rare) or an update that brings new content.

Yeah I got to the stage about a month ago. So I went out into the black for a lazy trip to colonia for the first time for a change. It was good for awhile ( I'm not there yet) but I think I left it too long in the bubble with the grind. I'm finding myself just wanting to get to colonia so I can turn off elite for a break for a few months or more and play some more engaging games. I'll come back to elite as I always do but Maybe not for awhile.

You can break whenever you like!

If you've some RP reason for wanting to get to Colonia before you do that, then you are using your imagination, which is something I think is sometimes a little lacking amongst some posters on this forum! Good for you!

After my last trip to Colonia, I think I took 16 days, not the direct route, and stopping off to see some sights, and then on the homeward route, 3.0 patch was imminent (didn't know exactly when) so I plotted neutron route and buckyballed home in 2 days. If you want to get to Colonia but you also want to take a break, you could do both in pretty short order!

Yeah I think it a RP reason. For me when I play elite for anything apart from just to hop on to shoot some npc I play as RP to an extent.
