Why do some players decline wing invite in res sites?

Actually I thought its a game, where I can relax and where I do not have to justify why I did this or that or not. Even not justifying it to me, so why to anybody else?

The question was posed. You chose to justify yourself

Yes, i understand. It was not meant as a complain about the question. I didn't felt to be forced to justify myself, it is more that I want to say: there is no real answer to the question, even not individually. It is a question like, "why don't you like to eat spinach?". The reasoning about the "why not join a wing" starts not before the decision to join or not to join. So I decide not to join a wing just because i don't do it in the moment. Now somebody asks the question, why not? Now I start to think and all rationality I try to put into the answer is speculation.

Simple question, complex answers ... may be less beer would be good, better I join a course for english...

I like do my bounties within wings as you get 1/2, 1/3 or 1/4 of the bounty. I can make 2 million with no problems and be able to make 4 million within two sections of bounty hunting. Just last week, I was able to make 8 million with a wing of three that included the 2 million that I already had.

Everyone gets the full bounty when you wing bounty hunt.

Maybe I just like wings because I am a Viper pilot. There isn't much going on for smaller ships and I enjoy flying in a support role for a larger ship. Acting as a scout and employing guerilla tactics is fun for me and shows that there is a place for small ships in a big battle. I do admit the idea of 4 Cutters in a wing is a little ridiculous though. But 4 Eagles or 4 Vipers should make a large ship without gimballs think twice.

Working in wings is best with people who have the same aims.
Just randomly joining up with others does not really work.
You need to trust your wing mates to watch your back and you will need to provide support for them.
Wing must have a goal or set of rules. Do you mind getting a wanted status or heavily damaged. When does wing decide to leave area? Separately or together? For example.

The same problem also occurs with crew. Only worse.

I don't think people are keen on joining as-hoc wings.

Get some friends to join you and go as a team. Then these issues can be worked out in advance.

👍

I don't have any friends. I spend most of my free time playing Elite Dangerous!

Well if I go into a HazRez for an hour between other games or whatever, I earn maybe 7-10m. I also bring along one of my other accounts, so it can get credits and rank. Crewed ships cannot join wings. And I always reach at least top 10% in combat CGs so, being in a wing doesn't benefits me.
