I have been playing since Dec 2014
Then you've also seen operating costs be cut a hundred fold, and missions and RES farming be buffed by a factor of ten or more compared to Dec 2014.

Well one thing. I wish Frontier sould either fix the logging to refresh issue, or accept it exists and put a `refresh board` button in the game.
It's just silly and makes it impossible to balance anything.
On one hand people come here and complain 50 million to Sag A isn't enough, while simuntaneously stacking such missions to turn it into 200 million.
You CANNOT balance to features that many many people use but are "not allowed".
If you balance with an assumption that people mission board refresh, you punish the people who follow your rules, and people are also perfectly justified in complaining rewards per mission are too low.
If you balance assuming people don't refresh, you open up an avenue to utterly ridiculous payouts, and again upset people.
PLEASE JUST CLOSE THE BLOOMIN LOOPHOLE OR LEGITIMISE IT!
Maybe then at least some level of balance can be attained, because while there's the backdoor your changes to balance will not apply.
It's definitely not the end of the thread, - the whole "let's tweak things and see what the results are, and hope for the best" smacks of incompetence and lack of any clear understanding as to what results they want.

If that really is the case, they really have no excuse for repeatedly screwing this up so badly.
They've come out as recently as today on the forum to say that balancing is ongoing. All I'm saying is that they know what's up.![]()

his happened with rare goods, then smuggling runs, then missions, now passengers.
Sometimes i feel like coming back after something new has come out and the devs completely destroys the payout. This happened with rare goods, then smuggling runs, then missions, now passengers. You have all these cool things people can do to make money and have fun and then you nerf it to oblivion and nobody does them. Its not just a minor nerf, the nerfs are so strong that you cannot even make enough to maintain your ship in the case it dies.
I really fail to understand their logic, only thing that ever was op was smuggling missions that needed a slight nerf, everything else was balanced and maybe even needed a buff like passenger high distance exploration missions....
I came back for passengers and after the recent updates I will leave again. I am so sick of this game that keeps pushing me away every time I want to get close to it. It honestly is a abusive relationship at this point.
Hiding the lack of meaningful conent behind an artificial grind wall?

players just want shiny big ships as quickly as possible, there are now other locations where stackable delivery missions between 2 systems are a nice little earner. Heck even unknown artifact and probe collection is now quite good at 3-4 mil per hour of income
Without wanting to insult anyone, the problem seems to be that many gamers now a days rather want a list that tells them a->b->c->d rather then having to figure out stuff themselves, even though they can figure out most of that stuff in a similar way.players just want shiny big ships as quickly as possible, there are now other locations where stackable delivery missions between 2 systems are a nice little earner. Considering they can just experiment in game? read the manual? learn the game in general? and they will figure these things out? they can also instead of "where can i earn most", search...any other term to get help in elite and steps so they can create their own profit rather then just following a guide somewhere.Aww come on. You think new players will know where to find these rare stacking locations? Or will know how to get out and get unknown artifacts or even get the ships to efficiently do so?
Do you already own your nice big shiny ship?
It was a big oppsie, the latest "FIX"![]()
