Well, unfortunately patch 2.1 struck me, and my support for SEPP will be minimal. Deadly imperial clipper interdicted me and wanted my cargo (note: I'm pretty sure whatever I had was worth pretty much nothing. I was carrying some random mission reward pieces I believe; that is to say random stuff gained as reward from missions, not mission inventory. I was not on any mission.) I ran like usual. Nope.
I panicked and started a regular supercruise (bound to 'o') instead of a hyperjump (bound to 'j'), resulting in disruptive mass factor of 25...
RIP ~15 more pages worth of exploration data. Well, luckily I had already sold some of my most profitable pages to the two exploration engineers. Estimated loss "only" 10 million or so credits. Estimated loss in playtime: I don't even want to think about it.
The cops arrived at the scene when I was at 2% hull ^_^
ps. lessons to be learned: 1) either don't log in while waiting for some random event or 2) sell your exploration data soon after returning to bubble, before starting to fly around

On the bright side, it's just exploration data. You can make up the difference in cash in about 3 hours in the bubble ^.^

But... but... all those lonely gas giant moons... wholly abandoned by the universe now
although realistically a vast majority of systems not yet cashed in must've been my honk&go traveling systems, which wouldn't have any scans on them anyway

On a much brighter note, I found my required second polonium after only 5 minutes of resource hunting on Timbalderis B 1 (I had one from previous journeys)

While I am sorry for the loss of your ship, I am personally very grateful to be over 65,000LY away from the madness that seems to have hit the bubble since 2.1 hit. It's like Avengers Assemble vs Man of Steel vs Age of Ultron for the sheer amount of completely unavoidable damage being wrought on people.

Yeah, I'm flying around here to pick up a +17% - +45% (hopefully closer to 45) to FSD optimal mass and then get the heck out again... or that's the general plan for the time being
Already posted in the SEPP group thread, but gonna post here too. Shouldn't there be a SEPP campaign on the exploration forum for the upcoming CG? I would love to do it, but I lack the language skills, and the pull with the community. I bet there are people out there who don't follow the events in the bubble, and have no idea this is coming. We still have 3 weeks until it starts, people who are not too far away can make it home in time.

Well you do still have a few days before DWE explorers start arriving in the bubble en mass, and many more still on the way, and a couple of dozen still at BP.
How about you, Dr. Kaii, or erimus start a new thread asking explorers to hang on to their data until the SEPP CG starts. By then we'll know if it requires data ?

Apart from this post, which is often floating around, and the video, and the messages through FleetComm - can you think of any ideas to reach other explorers? Would love any advice you can give. Let's make this work.
