Why I don't buy ARX

FDEV customer treatment at it's best. Pearl Abyss have gone the opposite route, made discontinued cosmetics available again and seasonal ones all year round.
 
Yeah, those kind of actions baffle me. How does it make any business sense to reduce the options for customers? Especially since these are non-perishable digital products we're talking about, so it's not as if they're taking up inventory space or have to be moved before their use-by date. I presume that the players who did buy them still have them, so they're still taking up space in the game files and being handled by the servers.

Such actions don't even seem to make sense from the FOMO angle either, since they made the fancy paintjobs available year-round, and I doubt that a lot of people would scramble for the more drab ones. It's just so bizarre.
Can't wait for them to start putting the "In Stock" tag on them like another company does.😄
 
I've sent a support ticket in just to officially mark my dissatisfaction and got the "it's deliberate" response.

The content I currently really want has changed from "not actually that difficult to find" to "impossible to find" (by removing it from sale).

I'm sure the emotions normally associated with a better experience will kick in eventually, but for the moment my brow is slightly furrowed.

I read through that post again and now I'm even more confused:
A ‘Best Sellers’ section will be added to the gamestore, including some of our most popular items, allowing Commanders to purchase items such as Midnight Black, Stygian and Chromed all year round.
Where's this 'Best Sellers' section??? Has the whole store been replaced by it?

Yep, very official. I'd screenshot the support ticket, but it's got that "confidential...not permitted to use any content..." stuff on it, so don't want to risk anything. Someone put it up on Reddit a few weeks back: Restore All Paintjobs in the Store

I knew what the response was going to be. I just want to apply pressure to get this reverted. I'm almost tempted to put a ticket in for every single variant of missing paint job.
