Why not just close open play fdev?

With this new CG rewards are given out by total % of goods transported. Anyone who wants to compete well... just go play solo. Makes sense to reward the player who puts in less effort more. gg this game..

Let me guess, frustrated ganker with no easy targets to murder? How about you go and pick a fight with someone who can actually give you a run for your money? Just a thought. 🤔

Again, this just shows how the Crime and Punishment system isn't really fit for purpose. We need a ways to ;-
  1. Track notorious commanders so that bounty hunters can round up a posse and go ahuntin'. (You don't even need a monetary award, I'm sure people will do it for free).
  2. If a bounty is collected on a notorious commanders, maybe a notification is sent to all their victims that this particular individual has been liquidated.
Mind you, some players just make it too easy for the Gankers. Min/Maxed trade ships are like seals to their sharks.

Paired with rewards and incentives, and some actual decent mechanics built around criminal/ antagonist play styles.

That's why FD can't penalise to harshly at the moment. Crime and punishment is really just "and punishment" at the moment.
