Winter 2023 DLC Speculation

Ngl would love a trio of American Flamingo, Roseate Spoonbill and Scarlet Ibis. The Latin American Wetlands Aviary at Chester Zoo is one of my favourite bird exhibits I’ve ever seen, and I’d love to use the inspiration I got to create a habitat for these three pink wading birds!
(Plus pink is my favourite colour. So we can never get enough pink birds, IMO)
It is a good exhibit, but the spoonbills didn't last long. They didn't get along with the other birds.

Congo Pack Idea

-Mantled guereza
: Africa needs a classic monkey almost a badly as SA imo and this one is the most requested one.

-Congo peafowl: While this is not the most desired bird pick out there its really distinct from the indian peafowl and a beautiful animal on its own.

-Blue duiker: Yeah we have alot of african antelope, but no small one, and barely any small hoofstock in general.
Frontier really loves their antelopes and this is one of the better ones left to add imo (for africa anyways).

-Slender snouted crocodile: Oddly enough africa doesnt have a crocodilian yet, and while the nile crocodile is the more requested pick i still think that this one is the better option.

-African rock python (E): Africans largest snake and what would be our first python. Also would be nice to get a large snake that doesnt look awfull. And despite being among the largest snakes on the planet its average size of 3-4,5 meters would still allow to house two individuals in the exhibit without it looking to stuffed

Honorable mentions: Guereza could be change to DeBrazza monkey or collared mangabey. peafowl to hamerkop. Blue duker to yellow backed duiker or red forest buffalo. And croc to african leopard

Scenery: Since weve gotten a few tropical scenery packs already i tought it might be cool to do something different and go in with the Jungle exploration idea. You know the kinda cheesy stuff, crates, tents and so on. Also a new set of climbing branches

Just a fun concept for a future pack.
Since the regional pack box as been opened again, i think one for the african jungles could be neat in the future. Obviously we should get other stuff first, be i think this could be cool if support continues.

Just cause you can be doesnt mean its good.
You can take ingredients that taste not good and jump though the hoops to make a delicious meal with them and while thats admireable why not use ingredients that do not suck in the first place?
You could use much more creative stuff when you would not have to jump through those hoops to make it look good and it would open up way more possibilitys, with everything currently possible still possible.

I dont get how any one can be against increasing the usability of the exhibits as it hurts literally no one and is good for literally everyone so why call people "uncreative" for complaining about a feature that literally needlessy restricts your creativity and possibility?
I think the point that some of us are trying to make is that their actually great ingredients, some people just don't like the taste of them.

Drat, I missed another monkey clash.
Africa needs a classic monkey almost a badly as SA imo
W opinion
But seriously yes, especially because baboons are the last popular species of primates we dont have left, they would add so much to the roster, oh wait this post was about a guereza...
What day are people expecting a livestream?
If there is a livestream cause now I'm second guessing myself, it'll probably be next thursday, the 30th of November, with the livestream announced Monday or Tuesday and a reveal Friday exactly like the Grasslands Packs schedule. This could be pushed back a week, but I don't think so cause JWE2 content and PZ content are most always back to back.

The more I think about this, the more I'm convinced the reveal would be earlier this week rather than on Thursday and Friday. The day of the JWE2 pack release is a non-starter but the day after could potentially be just as detrimental for some content creators. My money's on Tuesday for a tease (whether it's a livestream or a social media post) and then Wednesday for a reveal/release date announcement.

The game has the tundra biome for the Andes in South America, so could a potential tundra pack include the guanaco or the vicuna?
im going to say no because the llama doesnt have tundra in its biome tags
me: they're the size of bathroom decreases the size.
other people: to small, double the size.
it needs both its way too big for the spiders and not big enough for the iguanas. Also I think the main problem is the game is built on a 4m scale so people view the exhbit box as being smaller than it actually is.
So other than the wood frog, what are the other options for exhibit animals in a tundra pack?

Also not including the snowy owl cause honestly they probably won’t do it.
arctic frillary its a butterfly that lives pretty far up north but there is also the european common frog which lives as close to the tundra as the wood frog the siberian salamander as well is up there it wont be easy but it is doable to find an exhibit animal.
Like we have an info board that basically says how important pollinators are to the environment.
Then we just see a bee stuck in a box lol
I dont see the problem here if anything its a reason why they should include bees you can create a small area dedicated to educating people about pollination with living examples of pollinators just because there are bees in the box doesnt mean there will suddenly be no pollinators nearby
"Small building" do you mean gigantic building?

"Creative" tell me how is an area that is forced to have an 8 meter long ugly straight path tickling your creativity?
It also significantly limits the terrain of the exhibit, aswell as the enritchment items having literally only one way to place them.

WEs are just as bad as normal exhibits and while they made a step forward with being able to be nulled they also took 3 back with the fixed gigantic size, static enritchment and forced paths
The are definitely better no where near as bad as the regular exhibits for starters the animals actually move but they are their own special kind of garbage and have plenty of issues

I think this says it all so miss me with that "not creative enough"

I build a faux habitat that used much more creativity and brainpower then the box would have to make up for all of its shortcomings so i really doubt that im the problem here
pathing ingame is trash

So, what have we figured out in 369 pages?

BASICALLY CERTAIN:
There will be a DLC in December 2023 (steamdb, established release schedule)

HIGHLY LIKELY:
Said DLC will be an animal pack (established pattern of 2 animal/2 scenery packs a year)

REASONABLE SPECULATION:
The DLC theme will have a temperate or cold-weather focus (meta-wishlist, previous 3 packs being the opposite)
The wolverine will be one of the new animals (aforementioned cold-weather hypothesis, new meta-wishlist #1)
