Are we still holding onto that Singapore mishap from zoochat

Yep it 100% is bias because they people here just want something more exotic than farm animals but people also forget there are city kids who never have any exposure to farm animals let alone different breeds. In my opinion we dont need alot of domestics but they are necessary for a realistic zoo even though I dont want them.Oh no buhu domestics so bad oh no lets get 3 more default looking deers, 2 more canids, all bears including the oh so important EBB and ofcourse atleast 8 more cats
You all really are an interesting bunch. We cant have enough domestics for a small petting zoo, something found in literally every single zoo or atleast the vast vast majority, but then instead the wishlist is full of things we allready have or animals just not nessecary for their region.
Pls educate me why another small cat is more desireable then literally the most common animal in the african dwarf goat?
Or why another non spectacled bear is more desireable then the kunekune or vitnamese pot belly pig, two breeds that are super common, distinct and charismatic looking with interesting breed historys kepts alive by zoos.
This whole anti domestics talk is just a bunch of biased nonsense just like the anti walrus talk was and it just gets on my nerve personally
I think all ungulates are boring pigs especially but I agree domestics are not any worse of a pick then other animals but only if they come in a domestic themed pack.Pls explain to me how this is not appealing to you?
I normally hate the whole "look animal xy is so cute" stick but we are not talking about some generic milk cow and meat pig but distinct breeds with cultural significance.
All those industrial breeds are not kept in zoos because why should they?
Conservation of old outclassed breeds is part of the protection of both animals and cultural heritage and theres no better examples then the colorfull spotted kunekune from new zealand.
Its visually unique, much more so then any of the not ingame bears who all look more similar to the ingame bears then the kunekune does to the ingame pigs, fills a new important niche of petting zoo and is from new zealand, giving the area a third animal and actually enough for a small thematic area.
Its also common in zoos and has a great conservation history akin to the peres david deer.
Its also colorfull with many different colormorphs and simply is very cute and charismatic.
Pls someone tell me what in the world makes this colorfull culturally significant pig a worse addition then any carnivoran and the vast majority of ungulates?

birds i will be shocked by but petting zoo and aquatics to me seem equally hard to make since in order to make it successful they would need to add guest animationsOut of the 3 public requests (birds marine and petting zoo) the only one who stands a chance is petting zoos. Flying and Marines are not coming, too many animations too much work, and we’re 4 years into support. I will be shocked if we get birds in the next pack.
yep it isAnd i think its really ironic that this forum which is otherwise borderline obsessed with the whole common in zoo thing to be this rejecting of domestic animals.
Feels like cherry picking to me
bees are my biggest want we already have signs for it give me bees. Why can't we just accept that some people want domestics and some of us don't and that's it?
I'm being 100% honest. If it includes rabbits, ducks or honey bees and building pieces to make indoor shelters or paddocks i would buy it regardless. If it doesn't include any of those animals it'll probably just be the only DLC i will not buy. So is simple. If i don't like i don't pay for it and wait for a DLC i actually like. And people that want domestics get their pack.
the list is irrelevant here since a majority of people on the forums hate animals but all the casual players love itCan someone tell me the highest ranking of domestic species or pets on the "Habitat 25" list of the most influential needs in this community?
they may have different skulls but overall their face shape is pretty similar and would be easy to make from the existing tapir.I don't see how the Wisent is a clone. The differences are the size, the hair & the horns.
The differences between the Baird's Tapir & the South American Tapir are the skulls, the head, the colouration & the location.

hear me out what about the somali ostrich its blue so much more unique the common ostrich. At least the tinamou would be a fun addition not ostrich #4
Blue you say? Sounds better than boring greyhere me out what about the somali ostrich its blue so much more unique the common ostrich.
I don't. Tinamou are cool and all but rheas as a staple of south america. A very common bird with a wide range and that inhabits many types of habitats. Is a lot more useful in my eyes than the tinamou. IMO we shouldn't get the tinamou if we don't have the rhea first. If we are talking ratites id take a tinamou over the rhea any day
Gentlemen if we’re gonna talk about powerful birds we’re clearly missing someone.
It is the winter thread though, no one expects a return to Africa.(Very surprised not a single soul has brought this bird up the entirety of this thread)
Yet we could've seen it last year in the winter pack. Expect the unexpected. It is the winter thread though, no one expects a return to Africa.

It would be a great addition. And so would the Shoebill, Wild Turkey, Roseate Spoonbill, Scarlet Ibis, Greater Roadrunner, Mute Swan and Australian Pelican.Gentlemen if we’re gonna talk about powerful birds we’re clearly missing someone.

Replace the swan with a duck and we’re good, preferably the mallard or mandarinIt would be a great addition. And so would the Shoebill, Wild Turkey, Roseate Spoonbill, Scarlet Ibis, Greater Roadrunner, Mute Swan and Australian Pelican.
gasp that should be the Habitat Birds lineup.![]()
I think quite a few people have, that's why habitat birds often appear as wishlists now. Ducks, swans, spoonbills, cranes etc can all be added as non flying habitat birds like the flamingo and red crowned crane. There won't be any fly birds. I've really given up.
You should always expect Africa. ALWAYS.It is the winter thread though, no one expects a return to Africa.
Africa always strikes back. You should always expect Africa. ALWAYS.
5? I had my money on 30.After 4 years of playing PZ, I think it's very likely that even if we only have 3 DLC left, we'll get 5 African animals.
