Died twice trying to solo a K in my Dragon. Those main guns are quite brutal. Trying out Thermal Disintegrators. They bleed dmg through shields and have DoT effect. Nifty.
I don't know, but teladi is building factories willy-nilly in my sector, and they're not paying me to do so, so judging by this, I would also guess a vanishing act.
Google for searching answers as it will give you a hit on either steam, egosoft or reddit if there is an answer. If you just want to read the post etc then egosoft as they have split any spoiler into there own section. Just keep in mind the date of the answers as they relate to the version being played and available at that time.Well, I have upgraded the computer and reloaded X4 F. I'm quite happy atm but I'm diligently working through the initial stages of learning the interface. Its a lot to digest so I've decided to just move slow while playing through the basic lone pilot story. I started up my first mission, picked up an Interface widget and will fly to the next mission goal. Videos are a wonderful help. Good Luck all you X4 players.
Edit: so I don't bump this for such trivial questions … What the consensus on the most useful X4 forum? Egosoft, Steam, Reddit, Roguey, or another I've missed ? I have not registered on any of these yet but will.
How long did you take to build fleet?Played X4 Foundations after sitting on it for a year, and had a blast building a massive fleet.

Just looked it up - 41 days. As to how I did it, I'd set up miners to sector automine, and just go to bed. By the time I'd let the game run while I was at work - buy yet more miners and assign them to automine other sectors. Eventually, I'd have a truckload of money and could build stations. How long did you take to build fleet?
Haha, I used to do that in X3. X4 is more relaxed and seems not to poll player activity anymore. I've gobbled 50 millions or so. That could buy me a bit of fleet, but I'm too reluctant to spend it. Started building a complex station, used less cash than expected and now I have to deliver quite the amount of capital ships to a quest. That means I'm more likely to spend the cash on that.Just looked it up - 41 days. As to how I did it, I'd set up miners to sector automine, and just go to bed. The big money-maker are wharfs. The danger of course with letting the game run on autopilot is Xenon going nuts and killing everyone in the galaxy, but that didn't happen that build.
Taking a break right now but looking back the universe seems very dynamic in terms of stations popping up new all the time.
Whaaa? Eighteen Billion? At least that's what you need to go for now. Concerning the habitats, maybe try a mix. If I understand correctly a hab will draw a fixed amount from a race, so having more races pulls more workforce. Not sure if multiple habs of one race stack. I mean they should, but who knows what's in the equation. Maybe there is global manpower pool all habs draw from and Teladi is already dry.8Billion from running 2 wharfs, crazy money makers.
Don't understand workforce, I have plenty of habitats, food, medicine, even spaceweed for those crazy teladis.
Came home to lots of money, but workforce has actually dropped from last night.
Does building ships with crew reduce workforce pop? It's the only reasonable explanation.
