Is that one of the Eternal ships in the Dr. Who episode Enlightenment?
Oh, and toward the thrust of the thread, I love the Cobra (and fight better in the Eagle? Early days yet...)
And outside the game, I salivate over the GTB Medusa, which wasn't as hot as one hoped in Descent: Freespace but could shoulder through the later missions with durability and most of all, firepower.
Oh, and for a capital, I'll take the Pride of Hiigara - Mk. II

Difficult to say. I always imagined it as a rugged frontier ship - not one of those sleek dandy ships that some people like, but a ship for a man who chooses his own paths (darn, I think I stole that from some outdoors boots commercial...).
Yes. Burn him to the ground.
Favourite Sci-Fi ship? The Minbari Ship from Babylon 5 that is given as a present to Sinclair.
Favourite ingame? The Clipper.
In Elite Dangerous gotta be the Federal Dropship, in Sci-fi a tie between the Outlaw Star(anime of same namr) and Serenity(Firefly).

I cant believe none of you have mentioned the old girl who pretty much started it all.
I know this is the movie iteration but she's still the original with a whole new refit and engine redesign.

There are a lot of beautiful ships out there and i really can't decide which one i like the most.
I could try and separate them by their universes, but it still falls shorts and the list would be way to long to post here.
In the StarTrek universe, while i do like the D'deridex a lot, the Miranda Class always had it's own charme.
Babylon5 has quite some Beautys too. From the Starfury, over the shadow vessels, up to the Omega class destroyer, they all fit quite nicely.
If i got to pick two of them, i would take the Narn G'quan
and the Centauri Primus class Battlecruiser
But there is this one ship, that always stands out.
Not because of it's beauty, or coolness, or firepower, whatsoever. Nope.
But because it's so ridiculously trashy, you got to be smitten by it!
Behold the fast spacecruiser Orion:
The one and only starship operated by electric irons and pencil sharpeners!
But see for yourself:
