Your fleet?

FDL x2 (CZer and a BHer)
Vulture (for fun)
Cutter (heavy hauler)
Conda x2 (exploration and long range haulage)
Clipper x2 (CZ/BHer + miner)
Aspx x2 (exploration and a long range hauler/fighter)
DBX x2(exploration and long range fighter)
Python x2 (heavy fighter and long range hauler)
Cobra mk3
Dolphin
Orca
Belurga

I have had all three little fed piggy ships. All rubbish imho compared to alternatives - i tried a FGS again for the slf and sold it today as its a brick with engines. Havent got the fed rank yet for vette - tried all other ships except cobra mk4.

Plans
Vette with slf
Viper 4 as I miss my old one!

My other new CMDR has
Hauler. On way to Colonia!

Hmph, not an easy answer.

I tend to buy ships and keep them.

I have numerous sidewinders (probably about 15) used as markers
most of the smaller ships, all scattered based on where I left them.

Have a T7 for mining
A Clipper which is fairly standard, but is painted in blue and looks great.
FDL, but don't like it. Has a big gun, but that's about it.

Usual working ship is one of either the Asp-E (currently being used on an explorer run.)
or a Python.

Both are fair heavily modified and with a fair few Engineer upgrades, for fsd and shielding (fsd is required in case of python).
Both are pretty much multi-role.

Surprised at the number of folks who kept their first Sidewinder.
Hate that ship. Painful memories (did a lot of restarts) and I was most happy to dump it.

I try to keep my fleet lean, but I am terrible at doing so. I'd love to be a one-ship pilot, but I don't have the discipline. What I have and don't have ends up changing a lot. Right now it's:

Viper III - Speedy combat ship. First upgrade from the Sidey and I adore it.
Viper IV - Small multirole. Great ship.
Cobra III - Currently a light miner. I kinda hate it.
Keelback - Medium multirole.
Diamondback Ex - Explorer, getting bored with it. I like how it flies, but something's wrong and I don't know what.
Dropship - Just a husk at this point. I like it as a multirole, but the jumprange is making me sad.
Assault Ship - Just a husk at this point.
Gunship - Combat right now. Also sometimes a miner. I want to use it more, because I love how it flies, but internals and range are so limiting...
Fer De Lance - Just a husk.
Python - Multirole. I love the flexibility the ship has, but it's dull as toast. I hate that I have one, and I hate how useful it is, and I hate that I kind of like it.
Anaconda - Current main do-everything ship: mining (2x mining lances), exploration, combat, missions, trading, passenger hauling. I dislike the supercruise handling, but trying it out again.
Corvette - Testing it as a HazRES miner with 5x mining lances. I love this ship for basically everything, but the jump range makes it a pain to move around, killing the usefulness.

I've been strongly considering getting a T7 or T9 again as a miner / mission ship. The temptation is strong. I'm also sitting in Alioth right now, staring at the buy screen of an Orca, and thinking about what might be.

Adder #1 -flew it after the sidewinder and before i upgraded to a Cobra. It's a good beginner ship, and it looks cool.
Adder #2 - used it as a taxi once, forgot about it
Eagle - fun, looks cool
Cobra mkIII - a fun, good all around ship that i flew for a long time.
Python - another good multirole ship, that I flew until i bought an Anaconda, but have mostly ignored since. Did a lot of smuggling with that one...good times
Anaconda - A great multirole ship, and almost the only one i've been flying for the past couple years. I'm usually outfitted for exploring/bounty hunting/mission running, but sometimes will do some mining or a trade CG or something.

I could have sworn i had a Diamondback Explorer too, but i guess i sold it after drinking too much space rum.
