The amur leopard still has issues with its face. It looks like it's on the verge of tears. The adjustment it needs is fairly simple, there's a mod that takes care of it. But I always prefer something official.


It's rarely the body they have issues with as much as it is the face. I guess cat and dog faces are more expressive and therefore harder to model. But a lot of the carnivores in game have strange faces.


The lion, the Timber wolf, the snow leopard, amur leopard, cheetah, grizzly bear.

You have photo realistic animals like the alligators or cassowary and then you have the cats which you can easily tell are 3d renders.


I still stand that the hyena needs some tweaking before release.

At least, the hair in the ears of the Caracal doesn’t look like the hair on the ears of the first Binturong model! Can’t wait to see this beauty!!

It seems like Frontier isn't good at making cats. Lion, tigers, timber wolf, amur leopard, snow leopard, african painted dog, spotted hyena, striped hyena and jaguar all have some wrong issues.

Weirdly more excited for the caracal than I thought I'd be - it just fills a niche in my zoos that's really been missing!

i would include the red fox and lynx as well from what i have seen. I find the Gepard and Fennec very successful. The wild dog or polar wolf are alright i think but it's true it seems especially the cats have clunky features.

I believe they have changed it since then, it looks completley different
