Please remove the 256 species limit

The diversity of mods that have been created allow for builders to be even more creative with their zoos. We are able to create habitats that feature unique mixes of species, fill indoor areas with living aquariums, and add to our aviaries, primate houses, and field enclosures with dozens of new species. Including these modded species reflects the reality of the diversity of life held at zoos and wildlife centers around the world. Removing the 256 species limit will allow PZ players to build and expand their parks for years to come.

Please Frontier if you are reading this please remove this limit and bump it up to 1024 at the least. Having this modding community keep this game alive a decade later like zt2 is only possible if you help us with this. I remember all the time I re-purchased zt2 because of how far the modding community took the game. I love this game and I want to use mods once official support has ended so please frontier help us with this.

I think that removing the species cap from PZ would be one of the biggest things Frontier could do for PZ’s community and will ensure that the fans can keep the game “alive” long after Frontier has had to move on to other game titles. As others have mentioned here, Zoo Tycoon 2 is a brilliant example of what a faithful fanbase can do with a game and how the community around that game continued to grow long after official support for ZT2 had ended. And it was likely a win/win for Blue Fang too (the creators of ZT2), as new fans continued to purchase the game for decades after its release because the game’s fans continued to add to and advertise ZT2.

Frontier, please remove or at least significantly raise the species cap in Planet Zoo. Modders and the mods they create are a big part of PZ’s community and the cap entirely limits what they can do.

It makes my heart so full when I see people who don't use mods, and those that religiously use them, come together in support of this. I understand that sometimes the two groups may be at odds with each other at times, but I am so happy to see unison when it comes to this issue. If you're even strolling by and see this post, please lend as much support as you can. I hope to make a video on this issue soon, but for the time being, please voice your support for this topic. It's for the good of the Planet (Zoo).
